The nice young lady there recommended the spicy shrimp linguine, and it was delicious! I also had a mango margarita that was great! Definitely recommend

Spent one night in Elco NV . Wanted a local restaurant experience. We chose this place because we were impressed with the menu and the yelp reviews were positive. The patrons we met at this establishment were very friendly and all were local residents. The place was very busy, a good sign, we had to wait approximately 15 minutes before we could be seated. My wife ordered the small prime rib dinner. I wasn't very hungry so I had the wedge salad, expecting that my wife would not be able to eat all of her dinner. The food was outstanding! The portions were more than generous. The servers were outstanding and very friendly and helpful with our food choices. After dinner, one of the patrons recommended that we try the carrot cake, which he extol was made by the owner, a mature woman who was sitting at the bar visiting with patrons. So on her suggestion, we ordered the carrot cake to go. I might mention it was delicious too. We ate it in our hotel room. All in all and outstanding opportunity to meet local people and have an outstanding dinner. We have relatives in Idaho Falls so we'll be driving by frequently. Plan on stopping again Thank you for a wonderful experience.

WE WON'T BE GOING TO MACHI'S EVER AGAIN! Been going there for a couple years during the day time. Love the daytime bartenders Hayley, Lorenda, Jerica and Kelly. But the night time staff is not familiar to us even though we've gone there for birthday and anniversary dinners. We went to Machi's yesterday (Wed. Feb. 28th, 2024) around 2:30pm and hung out at the bar with some friends during the train derailment traffic. We ordered food at 5pm. Daytime staff had gone home. We got a salad and spring rolls but by 6:15pm we still had not gotten our food (pasta tossed in oil). I had ordered mushrooms (on the appetizer menu) to be served with my pasta. It was served with the spring rolls instead and was getting cold. So we asked our server at the bar to take them back so they would be warm when our pasta was finally served. Again, by 6:15pm (75 minutes later) we still had not received our food. So my husband asked for someone to check on our food. Not sure what the issue was and we were nice about asking for our food... but then our food still didn't come so we asked for it to be boxed up so we could go. Yes, we were frustrated but not rude or mean. It was dark and we live in Spring Creek, had a 30 min drive ahead of us and were hungry and wanted to go home! The owner John came out, got after us to "not treat his staff like that!" We were like WTF?? We were appalled at how we were treated and in no way treated Machi's staff wrongly. How about serve your damn food on time to good paying customers who have been going there for years! We spent over $150.00 on drinks and dinner!! Oh, and when we got home... there were no F'ing MUSHROOMS!!! BUT THEY CHARGED US FOR THE MUSHROOMS AND TREATED US LIKE S**T !!! When we got home I called Machi's to ask for a refund on the mushrooms that we didn't get, but were charged for. They said we had to come back in to get a refund. We live 30 minutes away from town on a dirt road. I told them I'm NOT coming back in there ever again! But that I would write bad reviews of their horrible service and treatment of long time customers.

Best prime rib we have ever had! And we are prime rib snobs! This photo is what was leftover after we both ate. This was on the bone in, medium, rare end cut and it was amazing. This is a great bar and restaurant. We will definitely be back. Great Wait staff, great ambience, and a fun owner.

Service was excellent. The waitress was so nice and made sure we had everything we needed (I had the boneless chicken wings so needed lots of ranch). Husband had a salad. Food was just ok. And the place seemed a bit dirty. But that could have been because it was about 7:30 pm and perhaps there had been a crowd before us. It was rather empty when we got there. Most likely won't be back.

The mushroom ravioli was more like tomatoes sauce over ravioli with added mushrooms. The Paella was salty, spicy and couldn't really taste the seafood. Also, service was slow.

I had the best meal in Elko during my week stay at Machi's Saloon on a lamb shanks night. Great atmosphere, and a local hangout. Was recommended by a friend who used to come here 20yrs ago and is a friend of owner John Lemich who serves at the bar.

This place is an absolute gem! We stopped in on our cross country road trip and it was a highlight. I'm not sure what was better, the food or the service, it was top notch! We ordered their special dinner of the day, which was chicken over vegetables. It was the most tender chicken I have ever had and had amazing flavor. The portions are large so plenty to share. We started with their spinach dip, it was so flavor and served with toasted bread as opposed to chips, which we love. We sat at the bar and enjoyed chatting with the bar tender, so friendly and had great conversation. There's plenty of seating here but they sure stay busy. They have specials every night, which are different nightly, highly recommended to try their specials. Wish this place wasn't so far so we could go back again!

Excellent food and service for the price! Machi’s never disappoints and the paella on Fridays is perfect. Haley is professional and friendly! Thank you!

Out here for business and stopped by for a meal. Shelby was the server. She did an awesome job making sure we had what we needed. She really made us feel welcome and comfortable to be here. This is a nice relaxing g place to be. I would definitely recommend a stop to see.

I do not recommend the "chimichalada." Go to an actual Mexican restaurant if that's what you want.

Excellent food and very friendly staff. I had the chicken parmigiana excellent. If we are ever in Elko this will be a number 1 place to stop. The carrot cake was to die for too.

Went to Machi's for our anniversary lunch. Very good service and quick seating. My wife had Chimmilatas, and I had the fish sandwich. Both were GREAT!!! Love the sides as they are always different from the norm. Quick service and the desserts were incredible. Prices very reasonable for the quantity and quality.
