Nice atmosphere, great service.

Nice place, good food, servers are polite and attentive.

The fish tacos and the fried mushrooms were very good, as was our service. I ordered the steak sandwich and was served a steak between two pieces of bread. No mayo (as stated on the menu, I had to ask for it), no lettuce, onion, tomato or anything else. For the price of the sandwich, I was very disappointed. All the other sandwiches on the menu come with lettuce, onion. tomato, and even pickles. Why does the steak sandwich have not deserve some of the same treatment?

Prices have gone up a lot over the years but the French melt is still the best

We ordered a Taco salad and a Quesadilla Burger to share between the two of us along with a couple of hefeweizen beers. We really enjoyed both the dinners and the beer (which is very hard to get in this country.). Oh yes, and we topped off a extremely pleasant evening with some good cheesecake! Service throughout was top notch!

So I'll make this short and to the point. It took nearly an hour for us to get a clubhouse sandwich, heart attack burger, cheeseburger, and French dip (4 of us were dining). She ended up forgetting to place our order. Manager said she would give us 10% off the ticket but she didn't (friend paid and she didn't check). The burgers tasted 100% flavorless and pre-frozen. They used to have fresh burgers but I guess not anymore. If you want to pay $20+ for a burger with no flavor this is the place. I rated the atmosphere 4 stars because the music was good.

We always stop into Mattie's when driving through Elko! Big menu, good food, a decent beer selection and cocktails that don't break the bank. The staff is always friendly. Lots of TVs for sports, video poker and there's an ice cream place next door. The patio is great for when we have the dog.
There's a cucumber, tomato and Bleu cheese appetizer that is surprisingly good and daily specials that are fun to try.

My group and I had been sat down at a booth and we had put in our food order and we were waiting. While in the process of waiting one of the girls from our group started to not feel good so then she went into the bathroom to make herself feel better. Another one of the girls from my group went and followed her to make sure she was okay they were in their for max of 10 minutes. While the rest of my group and I were sitting down we had a staff member come over and proceeded to tell us that they were kicking us from the restaurant and proceeded to tell us that the girl was falling asleep at the table “she wasn’t she was having full conversations and ordered her own food” and that she was sleeping in the bathroom “she wasn’t she just didn’t feel good”. They told us we were all intoxicated and causing issues in the restaurant we had barely gotten our drinks by the time they had kicked us out. Not to mention none of us had a drink of liquor except for the one person over 21 and he had barely gotten his beer before they kicked us out. I am very disappointed with this whole situation and I think it would be a good idea to train your staff how to treat the customers better.

Food is always amazing here. Service is always great and the atmosphere is always good. We have never had any issues or complaints when it comes to Matties. The French melt paired with some brew fries....always an amazing combo!

The service needs a tune up. Had to put my plates in the dirty dish cart twice. Last time my food was forgotten and was inedible. I've never complained about food but this time I had to say something.

My friend and I went in for a drink after the demolition derby. I know i needed to eat something. The grill was going to close. I ordered fried ravioli. Normally it's amazing. It was so overcooked. I mentioned it to the gal that took my order. Didn't even offer me a discount. Not sure if I'll eat there again.

Food has always been clean n they do a good job on special orders. I've had mixed experiences with their service. Dawson is an awesome server, always running and helpful. ? Sometimes I've even had to go up to the counter to pay with the girls during the week. No tip for you ?.

Been here twice and more to come.

The good is great, but what really stood out is the servers. I don't recall the name but 1 gentleman stood out above the rest going from table to table, always has a positive attitude and checking in on his area.
Kid is busting his a$$ and I don't say much at all, but I was impressed with his attention to details and customer oriented skills.
I do my best to get seated in that same area.
