I understand that you are busy and that can be overwhelming..but shoving my order into my hands and slamming the window closed right after with a hurried thanks is horrible customer service. Not to mention my order was messed up.. and sometimes it takes literally half an hour for an order or to even be acknowledged in the restaurant. Do better.

Worst customer service around period!! When did we get away from greeting customers, being polite and appreciating the business that pays you?? My husband and I got up to the window, the woman said nothing to us, handed us our bag, our drinks and walked away without speaking to us at all. On top of that we drove off not knowing until we got down the road that the drinks were straight carbonated water, no sprite whatsoever!! This is completely unacceptable!!

I am writing this post to share an experience that reflects a serious breakdown in customer service and basic respect. My intention is not to attack anyone personally, but to explain what happened clearly and honestly, in the hope that situations like this can be handled better in the future.

I placed an order through the restaurant’s app and received a confirmation number showing the purchase was successful. After waiting, my food was never delivered. When I returned to the restaurant to ask about the order, I calmly showed proof of sale in the app along with my bank statement, which clearly showed that my account had already been charged.

Despite providing this documentation, I was met with hostility rather than help. Instead of investigating the issue or attempting to resolve it, the manager was dismissive and disrespectful. I was accused of trying to get free food, even though the payment had already been taken from my bank account. This accusation was not only incorrect, but insulting, especially given the clear proof I provided.

The situation escalated to the point where I was told that the problem was not their responsibility because the order was placed through the app. I was instructed to contact an Arizona office where the app is supposedly managed. At no point was I offered a refund, replacement food, or even a sincere apology.

What is most disappointing about this experience is not just the loss of money or the missing food, but the complete lack of respect shown to a paying customer. Mistakes happen in any business, but how those mistakes are handled defines the quality of customer service. Being accused, dismissed, and redirected without resolution

About 20 to 30% of the time the atmosphere environment and efficiency is wonderful the other 70 to 80% of the time the atmosphere environment and efficiency is horrible. There is one specific worker, I do not know her name but she is always so unpleasant and rude to the customers and anybody doing mobile pick up orders. (I.e doorDash, Uber eats, etc.) she has this attitude like she’s better than everybody, knows everything, and just has an absolute ugly attitude. She will ask you a question, and then when you answer it, she is very snarky with her answer and very rude and unprofessional when she talks to any kind of customer. She argues with customers, she will yell at customers and just overall she is very, very unprofessional with her customer service. it really is a shame because most of the other workers are so kind, hard-working, and very professional when handling and speaking to customers. She just has this demeanor to her that she is so unhappy to be working there so she’s going to project that onto anyone and everyone that she can. In my opinion, there is no reason to treat someone harshly or badly because you’re unhappy yourself. I really think that Management should evaluate her and have a discussion with her because She really just brings the whole environment and atmosphere down at this McDonald’s. I have worked in plenty fast food places in my life and I know that it is very important and very strictly enforced to be as professional as you possibly can And to treat customers with kindness, respect, and dignity, whether you are happy or not. And this person seems to completely lack that. Honestly, Mountain city Highway McDonald’s in Elko Really needs to do better altogether in a lot of aspects. Especially this one specific worker. Do better Elko it’s not that hard. It’s also not that hard to be a genuine kind person to people that you don’t even know. 🤷🏻‍♀️🙄😤😒 if I could leave this establishment less than a one star of a review, I would.

Quite possibly the slowest McDonald’s I’ve ever been to. Waited over 45 minutes and finally just left. I’ve never seen fast food be so slow. This location used to be great, service was fast. In the past month it has gone downhill significantly. Several different times where you can’t get food in less than an hour is unacceptable.

Every single time I go here, the food is either cold and clearly reheated, or they forget half of my order. It's as if the workers can't comprehend any order that has three items or more. Something is missing every time. I am paying full price just to not receive what I paid for.

This location is so frustrating. The amount of times where I've asked for a removal of cheese and still had cheese on my food is ridiculous. Even on mobile orders none of my removals have been honored. Many times I have been missing food or have been given completely different items than what I ordered. The only good thing about this location is that the ice cream machine works consistently.
