Teriyaki Madness in Elko had just one vegan option. The front of house staff weren’t familiar with vegan dietary needs, but the cook was able to confirm and accommodate. The meal was decent, and I appreciated the cook going out of their way to help.

Ordered at 8:30pm they are suppose to be open until 9:30pm. When we got there to pick up our order at 9:00pm the door was locked and the employees hid from us behind the counter. We had already paid for our food so I called the store and no one picked up the first two calls. Called a third time and a young woman answered and when I asked if we could get our pick up order she said they didn’t have any orders for pick up. I told her I had the charge to prove I ordered and the order confirmation order. She said oh well get a refund or something. I asked if I could have her name and she hung up on me. We never got our food of course and we had paid 50 bucks for it. We even gave the restaurant our location on the app for a speedy pick up. Horrible experience. I would not recommend going there.

Traveling through Elko and stopped to eat lunch. My order was burnt and the veggies were not cooked. When I asked why they didn’t cook the vegetables the staff said they were cooked. I told them they were not cooked. Then they told me that I was eating too early for the vegetables to be cooked because it takes hours for the water to get hot enough to cook them. So 12:30 is too early to eat there. The chicken was really charred and not edible. I asked for a refund and was told no. I didn’t not eat anything from the bowl.Then the staff went to hide in the back. The 3 girls that worked there were very rude. I would not recommend eating at this Teriyaki Madness .I have eaten here at different locations and in other states and never had a problem. This location has poor management and rude staff. Go to Costa Vista next store and avoid wasting money here.

I ordered online and when I got there the employees said the order didn’t go through and i showed them my order and they said they don’t have any food to make it and told them i paid and they said to get my refund online ?? It was 8pm and other people would walk in and they would say they don’t have food and had the restaurant all cleaned up and chairs on the tables already

This place was really good. Spicy means spicy so keep that in mind. i wish we had a place like this closer to kansas city. Friendly service great food, cheap prices.

Honestly don’t know what to give this place. We went there to get food. The cashiers (two teenage girls) told us they only have teriyaki chicken and white rice. I could hear what she was saying because she and the other girl kept laughing then both ran in the back. I waited for them to return so I could order but they never came back. I don’t know why’d they do that. We just left.

Worst service in all of Elko. Have given it numerous chances. Understaffed and those who are there are teenagers who could not care less about being professional. You’ll be left on hold, wait for way too long, order is often wrong, it’s a shame because it used to be good, and the food is good. This is the first yelp review I’ve ever left the service is THAT bad. The owner should be ashamed of him/herself.

Chicken teriyaki bowl with noodles is awesome. The young man working needs a raise, he carried the two young ladies on his back. He cares about his job and it shows. He made a point to check on every customer while we waited. He managed a line of people while the two young ladies waited for time to pass so they could clock in

Waited over 20 minutes for our order, then they come and say they are out of white rice. Asked for a refund. We weren't the only patrons who asked for a refund as well. Then the tall kid was asking everyone if they were going to go somewhere to order and wait there, too. Their sepibses were yes, and then his response was great, now I don't have to make it.

Very disrespectful and rude.

This establishment needs to take notes from the South Reno location, which is the bomb!!

My husband and I were excited to try Teriyaki Madness after moving to Elko, but after three frustrating experiences, we’ve decided we will not be coming back. Each time we’ve visited, we placed our order, paid, and then were told after the fact that they were out of key ingredients—an unacceptable and avoidable issue that speaks to poor management and customer service.

Most recently, on Thursday, June 5th, we walked in and specifically asked the cashier if they were out of any food before ordering. She assured us everything was available, so I ordered a tofu bowl with noodles and vegetables, and my husband ordered a spicy chicken bowl. After paying, we sat down to wait, only to be approached by a staff member informing us that they were out of spicy tofu—despite confirming its availability beforehand. When I was asked if I’d like to substitute it with chicken, I explained that I am a vegetarian, making the substitution impossible.

After three failed attempts to dine here, we’ve lost any confidence in this establishment’s ability to serve customers reliably. Teriyaki Madness needs to address their inventory issues and ensure honest communication with patrons. Until then, we won’t be giving them another chance.

I would appreciate it if management or corporate could reach out to discuss this situation further. Thank you.

Went in for dinner on 6-1-25 approx 3pm. Young lady behind the counter claerlllly didn't want to be there. They were out of medium bowls, ice, and of all things, rice!
( which wasn't disclosed until after we'd placed our order). We waited for 30 minutes and still no food. ( We were the only customers in there) We ended up asking for a refund. The staff refused to give us the store managers name. DO NOT BOTHER.
