Mediocre food and poor service. They have been temporarily closed due to the fact the building was damaged from the winter storms.
Food was great. Service was very attentive. Glad to know there are better places than fast food and chain restaurants in Ely. Sometimes, the ,"diamonds" are found by looking off the highway. We will return next time through.

Delicious and cozy place. Roger was extremely nice and welcoming! Glad I made a new friend and had great breakfast
Cheerful accurate waiter. Cooked to order took a bit but worth the wait. Fries, curling fries and homemade chips were all delicious. Entrees excellent. Best food we have had while vacationing in Ely all week
Kid-friendliness: Booster seat was comfortable and waiter was nice to toddler

The food was old and should have been thrown out a week ago. The prices were outrageous. 8 bucks for 2 pieces of overcooked dead a month ago bacon. The biscuits and gravy appeared to be mixed up old corned beef and fermenting country gravy. The biscuits seemed to have been heated up in a microwave. It was inedible and sadly I paid too much for a dish that I couldn't choke down 3 bites of. My husband had 1 sausage link that was cooked the other raw, pink and cold. Eggs were also the same way one hard the other over easy. The staff, 1 needs to shower desperately and quit chasing people who choose to leave the establishment, without eating, asking why they are not staying. One server slopped coffee across the table and left leaving us to clean up after him. The waiter with colored hair was friendly, and was at a disadvantage with poor food and other staff. He deserves much better.Absolutely disgusting, I have fed pigs better food.
Roger took great care of me and my girlfriend! I had the pulled pork patty melt. It was delicious and that homemade bread is amazing. The pandemic fries are also worth checking out, but definitely enough food to feed two or more people fully.
This was a great place to stop and eat. Conveniently located in Ely off the highway, this restaurant offers tasty home style food.Plenty of food options from burgers to BBQ. The onion rings are tasty. A favorite is the blackberry and bacon grilled cheese. Delish!Service is friendly. Very pro-American and pro-troop/law enforcement. Loved it!!

Not much to say on this one. Food was almost average, but the wait to be seated 10 min) get drinks (10 min), and food 45+ min) was horrible. We even asked what they could bring out quickly, which was a salad and that took at least 20 min. We saw people walking out because how bad things were.If things are taking that long, it looks bad when wait staff are laughing with friends rather than bring food out.Maybe it was something in the kitchen. My wife order soup, but that came out last and was obviously the bottom of the pot.
.....with Great Breakfast! This Retro restaurant, obviously a Local Favorite, offered real genuine Homemade hash browns, huge fluffy pancakes & Superb sausage! We were Very impressed & wish it was closer to us in AZ so we could visit again!!
One of my favorite things while vacationing are patronizing local businesses in rural/ remote towns. Unfortunately I will not be visiting this restaurant again. What appears to be a respectable family business is marred by the Trump 2020 sign in the corner. As a small business, I’ll never understand passive aggressively signaling that 1/2 of their fellow Americans and POC are not welcome.Food was ok. Prices were fair, even with increased food costs.Staff could be improved…..despite there being 5 employees on the floor, only the server seemed to be working. The kitchen staff did a good job turning out orders. If it hadn’t been for the Trump sign, this would’ve become my breakfast spot in Ely.
Got an amazing grilled veggie sandwich here! It’s not easy to find vegan options when traveling, but these guys did an amazing job ???? everyone was also exceptionally nice!
Stopped for lunch while traveling and were glad we did. Service was prompt and welcoming and food was reasonably priced, plentiful and tasty!
