Looks like it’s time to say goodbye to Ranch House. My wife and I have been loyal customers for the past four years since moving to Fernley. Recently, I took a friend there for a steak dinner, but it was freezing inside—almost like they had the AC running in the middle of winter. That immediately struck me as odd. To make matters worse, the two ribeye steaks we ordered were clearly subpar compared to what we’d been used to. I’ve since learned that the restaurant has new owners. Sadly, we won’t be returning.

Spaghetti was so watery tasted like canned spaghetti. Loaded potato disappointed, that was one dry and hard ahhh potato, bacon was excruciating hard. The meatballs on the spaghetti was not meatballin. To the big back cashier that wears glasses terrible service. This place is a ZERO. And Plz explain the greens and chicken in my spaghetti where is my garlic bread. 🤦🏻♀️

We dined as part of our family's party of seven. We have had meals here before and often in larger groups. The food was very good, as it always is. Service was excellent. Service got off to a tad bit of a slower start, however it quickly recovered. Our server remembered us, checked on us often, and when we asked for things such as extra napkins, ranch and refills, he came back with those requests right away. The Ranch House has been a go-to for our family for years, and will continue to be for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. I do miss and want the chicken picatta back on the menu though. 😉
Kid-friendliness: We often see families with small children and we have always brought it little with us. Staff is accommodating, patient and kind.
Wheelchair accessibility: Yes, at the casino entrance and at the restaurant entrance so you do not have to go through the casino to enter the restaurant, in a wheelchair or on foot.

Waited in line to be seated for 10 minutes when the waitress walked by us several times not even acknowledging we were there. And the manager and another waitress were eating at a table and never said anything. We did not stay nor will we ever go back to this resturant.

Ranch House steak house inside Silverado in Fernley Nevada used to be a great place to eat... not so anymore.
A few weeks ago, my wife and I went there, we arrived at around 8:20 p.m. they supposedly close at 9:00. We were told sorry, but we're closed. So, we had to find another place to eat... actually Red's BBQ in Fernley.
So gave them another try tonight (11/14/24) with a party of 3. Tried to order the New York Steak and Shrimp. Was told "sorry, we are out of New York steaks and Ribeye steaks." I commented to the waitress, "I thought this was supposed to be a steak house, but you have no steaks?" So, I ended up ordering a hamburger... I can get a hamburger from McDonalds, don't need a steak house for that.
Later we found out that they had been purchased by Truckee Gaming a couple months or so ago and that they had been out of steaks for 3 days. And that this never happened with the old owners. Not sure why we weren't told they didn't have any steaks or there wasn't a sign on the door so we could go elsewhere before we sat down and got drinks.
I would NOT RECOMMEND the Ranch House in Silverado casino... seems to be poorly ran and they may or may not be open and may or may not have food if you go there. We will NOT be going back there!

My family was in there a couple weeks ago and had the server michael. my mom has messaged you guys and told you her complaint and did not receive a response. I tried messaging you as well and still nothing, so I'm resorting to doing it this way. You need to get your servers in check if they're gonna be in the customer service industry. he straight up argued with them about the meal they had ordered. my dad asked for the mod but of course there wasn't one. you guys will be losing a lot of customers if this is how you let your servers treat customers.
