The main waitress-brunette with glasses was beyond rude, short tempered & even saw how She was to the other staff. Overall disappointing based on her alone.
Extremely Disappointing Customer Service My boyfriend and I were in the city and decided to stop for sushi at a place I’d been to once before. Unfortunately, this visit will be my last. When we walked in, a woman “greeted” us with one of the worst attitudes I’ve ever experienced in a restaurant. I told her we wanted to dine in, and she immediately rolled her eyes and said, “Obviously, I can see that.” She then asked if we were doing à la carte or all-you-can-eat. Since I usually don’t eat enough for AYCE, I politely said I wasn’t sure yet and would like to look at the menu first. From that point on, her attitude only got worse. She seated us with visible irritation and continued to make us feel completely unwelcome. The energy was so uncomfortable that we decided to leave before even ordering. As we walked out, I let her know honestly that we were leaving because of her lack of customer service. She laughed and said, “Whatever.” When I asked her name, she said “Karen,” then immediately added that it actually wasn’t—and told me to go ahead and tell the owner because she didn’t care. Honestly, I will never step foot in that establishment again because of her. It’s unfortunate because the place was slow, and customer service is the one thing that can make or break a business. If I were the owner, I’d seriously take a look at who is greeting and representing the restaurant. One rude employee can cost you returning customers and in this case, that’s exactly what happened.
Salmon was gray and most of the rolls tasted weird as well as the rice tasting and feeling like it had been out for days, wouldn't recommend. Me and my boyfriend got terribly sick from this place.

My daughter and I both went for the 1st time and we ordered the all-you-can-eat special. It took FOREVER for our rolls that came out and not in any order. The rolls were taking SO long we just wanted the last one to go so we could finally leave and were told we would be charged for it separately. They consider 7 tables to be busy so if you want to spend a couple hours eating this is the place for you. Personally I will never return.

Charged a tip and then we tipped…. stealing money is never a good sign for a sushi spot and guarantees us to never come in again.

Excellent place not far from the highway. I was traveling from Colorado to California and was looking for some comfort food and quiet place. I loved the interaction of the chef with the clients. Good portion of food and also delicious.

The sever that served me was really nice & understating even though she was overwhelmed she was pretty good server , on the other hand the food was good but slow at coming out , me and my friend ordered rolls I got three and she got two they brought mine out and my friend was still waiting on her we mentioned it to the server and she went to go check but the guy making the roll sat there and told her that since I haven’t ate all my food he wasn’t going to make my friends rolls , what kind of service was that ? It don’t matter because what do my rolls have to do with my friend getting her roll , how can you dictate what I eat . I will never come back here & I wish they tips would go to the server

I have ate at this restaurant many times and service has always been great till tonight: we took our family there for all you can eat including two young children. Placed our order and after a half hour we received a few orders: I ordered two items and after two and a half hours nothing!!! I kept asking the server ever 20 minutes about my order and she said they were working on it. Then the server started to encore us. Then she said she through our order in the trash and my husband and son had not received any of their food. I paid 212.00 for our food and got one roll and not even the rest of our order. She was beyond rude to us for what? Me asking about our food? We had two children that were tired after sitting there for 2 1/2 hours. The server was behind the scenes talking about us, we all saw it even the couple sitting next to us who came in way after us and got their food. All we wanted was our food in less then 2 1/2 hours: we have are there sooo many times and never been treated this way. When I asked for our bill she said meet me at the counter so I did. Then she continues to go off on us. I was never rude to her, she is just the person I asked to check on our status. But she will run this place into the ground if she continues there. The owners will be informed of our very bad experience. I paid the bill, even for my all you can eat and recieved one roll. They need to have better management there. 2 1/2 hours I sat there patiently. I have never had such a bad experience in my life but this one pissed me off. It is a servers job to check on one’s order but for some reason she didn’t care: she didn’t even clear the table of the dishes. They definitely need better management if the owners are not there. First time in my 65 years of eating out have i ever been treated this way. I was hungry and wanted food in a timely Mater. We all feel they were ripping us off.

DO NOT RECOMMEND and will NEVER go back.
Two other parties left as well, one before us and one entered after I left. Talk about not caring about business on a Friday night; especially when there are minimal options and no other sushi restaurants.
Twice now if you arrive slightly after 730pm even on a Friday night - they will tell you they are closing. The last time awhile back they told us last seating was 745pm and pretty much dismissed us.
Tonight they said the Resturant is closing in 25 minutes. So I asked if we place our order before 25 minutes is that ok ? OR do we have to be finished eating in 25 minutes. The response was, well … it’ll be kinda weird since the Resturant will be closing and I CANT guarantee you will get what you order ! I said then you should change your hours and not say you are open til 8pm. Especially when their physical signage by the entry door says 830pm.
Why stay in the restaurant business when you are more concerned about closing than serving willingly paying customers.

I arrived around 1pm to an empty restuarant but was advised there would be a 25 minute wait for food since they have a lot of takeout orders.
I was okay with waiting and she sat me right away.
Server took my appetizer order for AYCE and within 15 minutes I received my Inari, Seaweed salad then Shrimp tempura. Food and service good today.
Sometimes it’s a toss up.

Slow service, bad food, and will try to offer you a to go box for the food that you told them was not good.

Really awesome gem in Fernley! We live in Reno, and have been sorely disappointed in all the sushi places we’ve tried (so much so that I don’t eat sushi unless I’m traveling elsewhere).
The fish is fresh, the rolls are large and tasty, and service was great!
Anytime we are looking at a long commute on I-80, we will be stopping here for dinner after work.

Wish I could give no stars!!! I have been to this establishment with my family a few times and the sushi is mediocre at best, but it is what is close but after they refused to seat my family of 3 when there was ample space (4 tables and the whole bar was empty) I refuse to ever go back they are extremely rude.

The service is SO BAD. Honestly not even worth coming here because it takes over an hour to get a couple rolls and another hour for a couple more and still not even the complete order has arrived. I’m writing this as I’m here waiting for my food, just found out they are not finishing our order because they forgot!
The waitress spent more time playing with some guys ordering at the bar than working. The other waitress looked like she was hauling and actually working! Too bad we didn’t get the hardworking one.
Mind you this place was empty when my party and I came in. The place is overpriced for fernley, I pay less in San Mateo, CA for AYCE.
I was warned not to come here…I’m warning you all now. Food was OKAY nothing good or anything to rave about - 3 stars for the food. -100 stars on service. Still flirting with the guys, and hadn’t even refilled our water or brought the napkins we asked for an hour ago :(
