The jalapeño burger is fabulous, and the chili is great—closer to the kind you'd find at a chili cook-off than a restaurant. The breakfast is even better, with very large portions like the chili and cheese omelet and chicken fried steak. The hash browns are absolutely amazing. Most of the food is simple but prepared perfectly, and the family running the place makes visitors feel like they've made new friends. This is a great spot to stop for a nice meal in a little town rich in Nevada Gold Rush history.
