The food was delicious, so the wait was definitely worth it. My friends and I ordered the Patriot Burger, which to my amazement, comes with everything. Extras like jalapenos included, no extra charge. Everything is fresh, never frozen. Some claim that but few actually adhere to it. But they're not just limited to burgers. Everything from burgers to barbeque, even a few Spanish influenced options. You can even get a hot dog or cup of chili if you're on the go. And don't get me started on the milkshakes. This may be a smaller restaurant, but it's definitely one to keep an eye on. I know I will. Oh, and you should definitely try the Alien sauce, it's out of this world ?

The food was not good, mainly because the fish, shrimp, and onion rings were apparently deep fried with bad oil. We threw most of it away, including the shrimp, fish, and fries.

Hawthorne is in the middle of a hamburger desert-- you might be able to catch the guy in Mina if he decides to be open- otherwise you have to wait until Tonopah. And in the other direction- it's 70 miles to Fallon. So we were pleased to discover Peppers a bit off the beaten trail in Hawthorne. Although the sign reminds you this is not fast food, it really didn't take too long to produce some nice char-broiled burgers and fries. Huge menu-- I would rearrange my travel plans a bit to make sure I was here around lunch time.

I was pretty shocked the quality of food this place served me. I was kinda scared to eat from this town as the other places I went were not good ! Totally recommend this place ! You will eat something
A food trailer hidden in Hawthorne. What a great find. I've been coming to the Hawthorne area for 12 years, and this is the first time I've been in town between 11:00 am and 2:30 pm to try the food. They have outdoor seating, some of which are covered. The restrooms were for customers only, but adequate. The food is cooked to order, so it's not fast, but it is good.

Update: based on the owner's response I have lowered. Almost every other place anywhere, they will give you a courtesy cup of water.The Bomber was ok, but no diet drinks and didn't tell me a cup of water was $1.50 - when they gave me the total I told them to take it off.
