This Port of Subs is inside a small truck stop and has very few seats for eating. I ordered a small number 5 with everything. $6.95 for a 5 inch sandwich; $7.43 with tax. Sandwich meat and vegetables were good. I made the mistake of choosing the sourdough bread. The bread was not fresh; the bread was very dry and it was crumbling apart as I ate the sandwich.

This used to be our go to when traveling through. Disappointing service and food under what seems to be new ownership/management. Sandwiches were inedible with extremely stale sourdough bread. Not worth the risk when you’re hungry and on the road.

New ownership/management?! Either way Great job! I don't order out often. And I understand that mistakes happen, especially when ordering online.. It's what you do when they happen that matters. Great attitudes, yummy food. Thank you for a great meal tonight; much appreciated! We'll be back.

This place is amazing I was driving by here from a road trip to Vegas I was hungry so I decided to go to McDonald's but then I saw Port of Subs and I decided to I stop by. I got a large chicken melt, a bag of chips, and a jumbo cookie, which they said they baked. This was so good, and I will be coming back here to grab a sandwich when I drive by again. This is the best place to eat when you drive buy on a road trip. The customer service was also amazing, and the workers were friendly and polite. The place was very clean and well maintained it is in a gas station and a little bit hidden but now that I have found out I can eat something other than McDonald's on a road trip by here I am so happy and I definitely recommend stopping by.

Stopped in because there were not any restaurants around other than McDonals. The subs were delicious, the place was clean and the employees were fantastic. Well done!

On Saturday morning, September 30th, I happened to drive through Hawthorne Nevada on my way to Daytona... I had never taken that route, and I needed gas...It was the cheapest station so I decided to stop there... I had left Las Vegas about 4 hours prior,so I hadn't had breakfast... I had never had Port of Subs before, but I don't like stopping places unless I absolutely have to, so I decided to give them a try...Everything starts with customer service... Unfortunately, I did not get his name, but he was the only working Saturday morning on Sept 30th... Right of the gate, with a smile on his face, started simple conversation... I told him I was from Texas, had flown into Las Vegas, and was heading to a wedding in Reno... Just a simple conversation, he wished me safe travels and off I go...I ordered the medium 8" Teriyaki chicken sub... I must say, after having eaten it, I thought to myself, I should have ordered the 12"... So, when on the phone with my wife, I told her about it and she had never heard of Port of Subs... I asked her to see if there were any in Texas... unfortunately, there is not... So, I told had mentioned to her that it sucked that I was probably not going to be heading back to Las Vegas the same route...So, I made it to the wedding... Now, Sunday morning, it's time to head back down Las Vegas... I left my hotel room at 0500... I set my GPS... it was taking me a different route but ended up on 395... I told my wife I was excited because even though I didn't need gas, I was going to stop and get me another sub... on my way there, I asked my wife to check and see if they were open on Sundays. She told me they opened at 0800... I arrived at 0730, and even though I was on a timed schedule. I decided to wait for them to open...When they opened, he immediately recognized me and smiled... He remembered our conversation and asked me about the wedding...I told him that I had really enjoyed the sub the morning before, and I had to have another one... He was very grateful for coming back and for my business...I got the same sub as the previous day, and it was just as delicious...I assured him I'll definitely be stopping there on my travels to Reno...He once again thanked me and wished me safe travels back to Texas...Customer service is the biggest thing for me... That's what keeps me coming back, and although it's not often, I will definitely stop there for a sub anytime I have to travel to northern Nevada...

I ordered a vegetarian sub with cheese. They slice the cheese on the same slicer that they slice the meat. I was very impressed that the guy asked if I was a strict vegetarian before putting the cheese on the slicer that had previously cut meat. I got the sense that a cleaning would have taken place so as to not mix the meat with the cheese.

Asked for extra crispy bacon, received extra bacon. They didn't charge me but I didn't feel heard at all. The subs are very light on meat and not very tasty for the expense. I couldn't even eat mine.
