My wife turns to me after leaving and says. That's the worst ice cream place we've ever been. I couldn't agree more. As you approach there's people sitting right in front at the tables next to the door smoking cigarettes. Like real cigarettes like it's 1990. We walk it. No one is there including the workers. We walk up to the ice cream freezer that's only half full of flavors. And the ones left look like they've been there a while. The worker is outside sitting with someone who is drinking a beer. We would have left if it wasn't for our 3 year old who was looking forward to a treat. We only bought one scoop for him and we passed. I don't know how they are in business.

I got a kids split scoop it was $2.92 after 10% off. If you eat at Austin's and show your receipt at coolmess then you get 10% off the same owner. I liked the espresso chip and cookies and cream both very good flavors.

Cool Mess is rather a HOT mess. They have a cute indoor seating area and some outdoor tables BUT their Yelp menu is very different than the menu they had when we arrived this past weekend. The only thing they really sold were ice creams (by the scoops with cup or cone), smoothies and coffee. There were some banana cream / coconut cream pie options available by the slice. They were completely out of vanilla. There samples WERE TINY and the location definitely left something to be desired. Even the staff looked defeated and very sad to be there. We sat inside but there was someone smoking outdoors and the fumes from the smoke lingered INSIDE the ice cream shop. It was really displeasing. I would not necessarily come back here because of this lackluster experience.

I love this place! Cute decors and lots of seating. It was great on a hot summer night and the ice cream was actually good! Generous serving and big scoops!

Loved the roasted beet salad. Very tasty as an entree or to share. Wow - the grilled mushroom was outstanding as was the Fiesta Chicken. Our daughter had the grilled ribeye and loved it, expensive but cooked to perfection. Very delicious and fun, casual evening eating outside here. Highly recommend!

This place is perfect for when you're having a sweet tooth after swimming in Lake Tahoe. They have ice-cream, shakes, and pie. The prices however are a bit high. The staff was nice and the place itself is cute.

The food, service and atmosphere were all excellent. There is a large out door seating area under the pines. That's where we sat. There is indoor seating, but the atmosphere isn't as nice.

I've cream is fine, looks like (from the containers) Dreyer's Grand and/or Blue Bunny - nothing special. There were no baked goods, only apple pie and none of the colorful toppings I see in the pictures. Maybe it's because we visited in the evening? Portions are wildly inconsistent. One night it's an incredible deal - big old scoops and my parents/son were overjoyed, next evening the stingiest scoop you've ever seen. Staff are perfunctory, but not friendly. We aren't in Incline village often but next time, we'll skip this place.

Board clearly states $9 for “Milkshakes”, but they will charge you $2 additional for all flavors except vanilla. This fee isn’t listed anywhere and the workers do not tell you as well. Misleading. The milkshake was good though.

Peanut butter fudge ice cream add toffee was spot on a lovely treat after a hike.

My husband liked this place so much we went there twice. They have pies too and cute decor.

A sign on the door says closed for the season but on here it shows they're still open. Drove here only to find this out at the door. FUMO cafe right down the parking lot has delicious coffee though, gratefully I was able to get some during my stop after all.

I know they have a bar, but at lunch time, this place functions as a small coffee shop. Sadly the food was just ordinary, but portions were large. Service was a bit unprofessional.

This restaurant was very close to the hyatt. The dinning room is relatively small but comfortable. The Bar has a good selection for drinks, beer and win on tap. We arrived at 4 pm and were given the lunch menu. We had a Bowl of chili, Chicken fried steak and a Ahi tuna sandwich. With a side bowl of fries. All were excent. The chicken fried steak was then but the breading was great. the Ahi tuna sandwich was served with pickled veggies and made a great combination. The side fries is very large and can be shared by multiple people.
