Excellent food and staff who go above and beyond to delight customers. Do not miss dessert! The apple dessert is remarkable.

Cozy, great staff and very tasty food. I recommend the foie gras appetizer: unlike most establishments; here they use an actual block and not mousse. Cooked perfectly and full of flavour, the sides and sauce do not overpower the foie gras in the slightest but perfectly compliment the flavor which again emphasizes the perfection to which it was cooked! We ordered most of the entrees but I must say the sea bass was just exquisite. By far the favorite of the table. Great wine selection, bartender(I couldnt get her name as they were super busy but had a nice conversation with her) was great and was able to recommend drinks and different alcohol to some of the classics. Our waiter Robert was very courteous, prompt, friendly and most inportantly well informed of the menu and was able to explain as well as describe the dishes perfectly. Javk rabbit moon is now my family's restaurant of choice and we highly recommend it. We will definitely be back! Thank you to all the staff that made our dining experience very memorable.

Arrived at 6:27pm with my mother without a reservation. The place was completely empty, save for a few people sitting at the bar. We were told that the restaurant was completely sold out and we could not be accommodated. We asked what time the reservations were for. The server turned and pointed at a few tables and said "7:30 for this one and this one, 7:00 for that one." I understand the 7pm table could not be seated at 6:27. However, you mean to tell me that you can't turn around a 2 top in an hour? Do you have the slowest servers in the world? Not only was this poor customer service, I genuinely feel that this restaurant is shorting itself money by turning people away like that. As we walked away, the server actually had the audacity to shout after us "well we sell out a week in advance". No one cares if you have that kind of attitude you have. Only gave one star because I can't give zero.

Maybe they have the best food in the world (they don't), maybe the owner is so wealthy she doesn't care that you were exited to try her place (she isn't), maybe you love attitude from a secondary establishment that seeks to be important through faux arrogance?! If the final feedback is for you- go to Reno, this place will be out of biz sooner than later. Don't waste your time.

Consistently outstanding, I think this is the best restaurant in town. The food is fresh and delicious. The service is impeccable.

Lake Tahoe is chockfull of breathtaking beauty & world-class level activities. But fine dining? That scene is just not happening here. Happily, Jack Rabbit Moon more than compensates for that void. This is elevated dining. For anywhere. But out here in Tahoe? Suffice it to say that JRM has zero competition. Great wine list. Attentive service. From soup to dessert, every dish delivers. Even the gazpacho is outstanding. You taste the ingredients. You taste excellence. Foie gras. Wow. Velvety & luxurious, this dish rivals any foie gras I've had in SF or NYC. I especially appreciated the chef making it sweet instead of savory. Foie gras is magical when sweetness is added. This dish makes you wish it would never end. Sea Bass. Outstanding. The fish melts in your mouth. Flavors are fresh & vibrant, & it's satisfying despite being so light. The duck confit should not be missed here, either. Crispy on the outside, tender on the inside, full of flavor. Do not skip dessert. I loved the chocolate cake, but the panna cotta was outstanding. If you make it out to North Shore, & especially Incline Village, JRM is a must try. Make a reservation! Even for the bar! This is absolutely necessary during peak season. A jewel in the mountains. 5 stars

Amy and the crew score a perfect 10 every single time I come here while visiting friends in Incline Village. Menu is tops but make sure you check out the chef's features. Cheers to JRM!

Round two in four days. Can't give enough praise for JRM. Once again, outstanding food and atmosphere. I travel a lot for work and I can say the one thing which sets his place apart outside of the food is the owner Amy and her staff. They are absolute rock stars. On top of that the wine selection BTG is great. If only I had one more night...

Delicious food, warm and knowledgeable service, creative and yummy cocktails. Dinner at the bar would not normally be my preference but with Robert behind it it is the place to be.
