Sombody described this as a “hidden gem.” Not our experience at all. We attempted having lunch here at around 13:30 on August 3, 2025 and the entire area was mobbed. In fact we couldn’t even get to the restaurant because the road that leads to it was barricaded with a sign reading something like, road access reservation required April-September. So just check with someone that you can actually get there before heading to out to Kokanee Bar.

We tried fish and chips and chicken tenders. Both there ok. The order was prepared pretty qucky - wait time was about 7-10 min..

The perfect spot for a quick bite while enjoying Sand Harbor! You get tasty deli-style food paired with a stunning lakeside view, easy, convenient, and beautiful. A great way to refuel without missing a moment of the scenery.

Super rude staff. Never experienced anything like it in my life. I watched a blonde bartender taste a spoon before he put it back in my drink. The vibes were racist. Strongly don’t recommend.

Don't order the chicken ranch sandwich. I think they boil the chicken, put it on a grill to make it looked like it was grilled, refrigerate it, then microwave it before serving it. I'm not really sure what they do but it's like biting into a baseball mitt only tougher. The inside is a weird stringy grey consistency.
Oh... and there is nothing ranch about it except maybe you can shoe a horse with it.
The fish tacos were mid. The chicken strips and fries were too. How do you mess up fries?
Good bloody Mary though. Still only one star because of the food.

Clean environment, kind staff, great snacks/food! And the food options weren’t overpriced which I appreciated.

This is a hidden gem, the best view for lunch. Food and drinks were affordable. Service was great, especially Tegen the bartender. Thankful we found this spot at Sand Harbor State beach, which is gorgeous.

The owner is very rude. She was making my drink and I went up to her to ask her a question about my drink and she said, “NOT RIGHT NOW, WE ARE TOO BUSY, GO ASK HER!” and pointed to the cashier but she was very rude about it. I went to ask the cashier who was very helpful and she was able to assist me but when I turned around the owner was answering someone’s else question.I got upset and told her, “you could answer someone else’s question but you do not have time for mine! “ she just looked me as I walked away. when I asked to speak to the manager I found out she was the OWNER! what a great example for the employees, and so unprofessional of her. we are giving her our business and paying for the service for such unprofessional owner!

Probably one of the worst interactions I’ve ever had with a restaurant owner. She came up to my family and decided to kick us out for “staring at her”. I have never been more appalled in my life. I have never had such an experience with a restaurant especially one that charges the prices that this one does. Extremely expensive and terrible customer service by the owner herself. DO NOT Give her business.
