Excellent food and well presented. Staff and owner were very friendly and accommodating. Loved the escargot and ahi appetizers. Filet mignon was cooked perfectly. It was a very casual place with a laid back sort of feel and a short walk from the Hyatt hotel. Highly recommend to anyone visiting incline village.

The food was spot on and amazing! The veal chop was done to perfection with a mouth watering sauce. An interesting twist was the triple fried fries. This was our first time going and definitely not our last.

We enjoyed a very nice meal on a snowy night when many other restaurants were not open. Our server was very helpful pointing out popular items on the menu. The food was delivered with a very nice presentation. The chef also provided a special (not ordered) light appetizer that was a nice treat. All in all, we really enjoyed our evening at Le Bistro! We will be back!

Phenomenal dinner last night. I am so pleased I came across this restaurant, for I was unaware of them previously. The food was delicious! They start you off with a pleasant little taste to wet your appetite. I went with the four course tasting menu for $80, a very good value especially considering the quality, quantity, and deliciousness. The whole menu is categorized into five categories. You can order everything either a la cart or pick one item from four of the five categories. A couple, more pricey choices trigger a supplemental charge, though that's reasonable. For beginners, they make their own bread. The best way to go and always a great benchmark for how a quality restaurant does everything. It was so fresh, hot, and scrumptious. It's kind of a rustic style bread, served with ample butter. For my appetizer I had the crab cakes. Two tasty small cakes. Next I went with the lobster bisque in the puff pastry. It was quite good. Next was the wedge salad. Whatever they did to the bacon was incredible! Oh my God! For my entree, I had the filet Mignon topped with the best crispy, thin, tasty onion rings. The Cabernet sauce was point on perfection. They also serve a potato soufflé with the entrees. They are like premium puffed French fries, but oh so much more delicious and remarkable. Temperature of the filet was a perfect medium rare. The filet is also served with a few vegetables and mashed potatoes. All so good! For dessert I added the sweet sampler dessert. It had an array of four petite desserts, a crème brûlée, a raspberry sponge white cake, peach tart pie (very cute, heavenly shortbread like tasting crust), and a most delicious chocolate truffle. They have a quality wine list and some reasonably priced offerings by the glass. Service was top notch. Our waiter and the other front of the house staff worked well together to provide attentive, professional, and friendly service. The ambiance is lovely. We had a cozy booth on one side of the dining room.

We had heard that this long time French favorite had made some changes to its menu style (a la carte) and become more budget friendly. The staff is welcoming & very attentive, the ambiance is warm & inviting though a bit dated. The food was "good": Salads: Caesar arrived undressed, the Wedge flavorful, Entre's: Rack of Lamb med. rare as requested, Duck Confit over cooked & dried out.

I think the restaurant must have been a bit understaffed as service was slower than usual. The food was good, but it would nice to have more dessert options beyond the dessert plate which doesn't seem to change, i.e. traditional apple or pear tart.

Never expected to stumble on a spectacular French restaurant in Tahoe. Lone eagle might win on view but this place wins on food and wine list. Knowledge/attentive wait staff. Quaint, old-school, cozy vibe inside which is my speed. Dare I say, best foie gras of my life. A must is you are near by.

Great meal at Le Bistro the other night! My favorite was the gnocchi with morel and truffle cream sauce. Service was good and the atmosphere was quiet; perfect for a romantic date night. I'd say the prix fixe menu was a good value for the quality of the food, but wine prices were quite high.

This is our FAVORITE restaurant, anywhere actually. There are many great restaurants in Incline Village and around Lake Tahoe but none as spectacular as Le Bistro. Dave, the owner and chef, takes a personal interest in all of his guests and we have never had a single dish that wasn't prepared perfect. The menu is incredibly diverse and always interesting with seasonal specialties. The wine list is extensive and the best we have ever seen - both in quantity of selection, quality of offering and prices. In fact, the prices for everything are beyond reasonable. We were just there last evening for a birthday celebration and it did not disappoint. In fact, it was beyond amazing!

Food was phenomenal! Had the oysters and ratatouille to start then filet and lamb for entrees. Perfectly cooked and excellent service with quiet, intimate ambiance.

We love this French gem. Every time we visit Lake Tahoe we come here. The food is awesome. We especially love the foie gras, lamb and duck confit. The ambiance is one that is fitting for dinner with friends or a romantic intimate dinner. We will be back for sure.
