The food is amazing and authentic. We enjoyed the lovely lamb korma and the delicious chicken goan curry and the allo gobi. Portions were generous and if we could have eaten more we would have. Mango Lassi at the end capped the rich and bright flavors. Next time, I have to save room for dessert!!!

Ordered samosa chaat, butter chicken, and garlic naan. This seriously hit the spot. Spicy, fresh, flavorful, delicious. If I lived here I would order all the time.
Simple and understated in design and service, and absolutely top shelf in cuisine! Prepared and delivered perfectly with absolutely amazing flavor and texture! We were smitten with the first bite of food and every bite thereafter seemed even better than the one before! A pleasant surprise new find in Tahoe and we hope Mehfil stays forever! Don't change a thing! It's perfection!

Great Indian food spot in incline village! Restaurant was clean, spacious and quiet. Food was delicious, especially on a chilly rain day. The flavors really hit the spot.
Highly recommend the paneer tikka masala and the gulab jamun.

We were here from LA. This is the best Indian food I’ve had in a long time. You should definitely eat here!

I can't wait for a good Indian place in IV, but this one is not it. I went to culinary school and have been to India. The owner and family should be embarrassed with the food that they are putting out their kitchen.
Great food and service! Definitely recommend

Lovey had great customer service! Great food! Definitely will return back!
Don’t be fooled by the site, as the food, especially the biriyani, was tasteless. As well, the food prices were very high. Please, choose a better place to eat at.
Thank you

We ordered the Karahi Chicken & the Chicken Goan curry & both meals were AMAZING. I would absolutely come back and try some other meals. So happy to find a good Indian restaurant on vacation! Staff was also very friendly and accommodating. 10 out of 10!

I was not expecting to find such good Indian food so close to Lake Tahoe. The butter chicken was really good. Naans were served fresh, hot, and crispy. We needed our own car to get there but the place has plenty of parking. We also tried the panner tikka masala and we loved the taste.

This restaurant is a great addition that the Tahoe area has long been missing. While it’s a bit of a drive from South Lake Tahoe, it’s absolutely worth it if you’re craving quality Indian food. The curries leaned a bit on the sweeter side—even after asking for spicy—so if you prefer a stronger kick, it’s a good idea to ask for extra spicy. The chaat, rice, and naan were all spot-on and flavorful. The staff was friendly and welcoming, and the ambience was warm and clean, making for a very pleasant dining experience. Definitely recommend stopping by if you’re in the area and looking for a good Indian meal.

The food at Mehfil showed promise.
Unfortunately, the service completely ruined the experience. After moving tables in an empty restaurant (before being served and leaving our first table clean), the waiter scolded us for not asking permission. He then mean mugged us for the rest of the meal, making us very uncomfortable.
When we went to pay, the waiter literally hid behind the host and refused to leave--clearly aware of his behavior. After calmly expressing our concerns to the host (who confirmed she was the manager) in front of the waiter, she doubled down and scolded us too, all for something so innocuous. To the waiter's credit, he eventually apologized.
At Mehfil, it seems the customer is always wrong. Promising food, ruined by poor service. Sad.
