We ate here for dinner this evening. Family of 4. We decided on the pre-fixed menu (Only available certain nights of the week) for the adults and the kids had the spaghetti with lots of the complimentary bread. We absolutely loved our meals! The pre-fix menu was definitely enough to fill you up. I also had the Starlight (gin cocktail) and it was so good (I’m very picky too about my cocktails). We are staying on site so it was nice to not have to drive somewhere and still get a well prepared meal. Definitely recommend eating here!
Photo of one of the items from the pre-fixed dinner. This was the Consommé di Pomodoro Freddo…the crispy quinoa was such a tasty surprise in this dish!

Excellent experience at Osteria Sierra. The service was fantastic- thank you Bill and staff! Food was wonderful too.
I wish I read the previous 1 star review before I order. Ravioli is very small portion and tastes very plain. 3 veg Raviolis for $47 dollars are totally a rip off and do not represent the quality of food at all. Avoid this dish as all cost. The service of the manager is a joke as well😆 lying to your face about the quality of food.
The food is authentic and delicious. Northern Italy food clearly made with quality ingredients and the prices match it and is worth it!
My friend and I wanted to “scout out “Osteria to make sure it was “up to par “ before we bought our wives...😅 It was outstanding! We had been given a heads up regarding a tomato, burrata salad and it absolutely lived up to the expectations! Our server, Eddy did an amazing job.
Incredible service. Pour ice water and spilled, didn’t bother to wipe them out. The other guy yelled “OJ” and slammed the glass cup heavily on our table, spilled everywhere, and they just walked away. Did I mention that they generously added an 18% gratuity. Truly world-class hospitality.

We had both dinner and breakfast at Osteria Sierra during our stay at the Hyatt, and everything was excellent.
Our dinner server, Ciera, was amazing—so kind, easy to talk to, and full of great local tips. She really made the evening special. The Burrata, Steak, and Elk were all incredible—some of the best we’ve ever had. Every dish came out perfectly cooked and full of flavor.
Breakfast the next morning was just as good. The blueberry pancakes were unreal—fluffy, buttery, and packed with blueberries. Our server that morning was also wonderful, attentive without hovering.
We happened to meet Chef Alan Kubler in the lobby later that day, and he was just as genuine and kind as his food suggests. You can tell there’s real pride and care behind this restaurant.
Can’t wait to come back next time we’re in Tahoe.

Never come here! You will be disappointed just like us and even the people at the next table, who returned their food to the waiter because it was inedible.
We ordered 2 cocktails and 2 dishes — everything was terrible. The total bill was $144, which is extremely expensive for such tiny portions. The ravioli dish had only 3 pieces (!) for $47. It was just dough with vegetables, no meat, completely bland and tasteless. Total scam.
The carbonara was also a huge disappointment — a tiny portion, watery and bitter sauce, and still $42! Even worse, the bacon was not fresh and so hard that for a moment I thought I broke a tooth while chewing it.
On top of that, the service was dishonest. The waitress first brought us a bill without listing the items — only the total amount, so I couldn’t even check what we were paying for. When I insisted on seeing the actual receipt, she brought one that included dishes we didn’t even order, making the bill higher. Only after my second complaint did they finally bring the correct bill, which was lower. This is double fraud!
Absolutely the worst dining experience. Stay away.

Amazing food and great service. Octopus was super tender, Elk was cooked perfectly and so was the Branzino
Pretentious Italian restaurant. Poorly trained wait staff. Awful atmosphere. Ugly room with bright lights, like a diner. Expensive.

Everything was excellent. Top tier service, food, and cocktails. Billy was an excellent waiter and we had a wonderful experience. There were classic and adventurous and the atmosphere was divine!
The food was good and the service was friendly, though a bit slow, even though the restaurant wasn’t crowded.
Overall, it was a decent experience, but slightly overpriced for the portion size and quality.
The focaccia was quite stale, but we ate it anyway since the food took a while to come out.

Very good and creative Italian dishes. Service was excellent and thoughtful, decor was comfortable with soft green velvet booths. Seats near windows have good views of the mountains. We had eggplant parm and spaghetti bolognese with meat sauce plus split a mista salad. All were excellent. Wine a bit pricey, as are most places today. Overall a very comfortable and tasty experience in a relaxing setting.
We come up to Tahoe once a year and this restaurants new menu is a wonderful new treat! From the knowledgeable server to the delicious food! We will definitely be back. The Bison meatballs were absolutely delicious!
The food was overpriced and I ordered a Carbonara that came in a soup of cream and nothing like either traditional or I have seen before. And, not even that tasty
