888 BBQ (Chinese)

888 BBQ was quite disappointing. I requested a duck but was picked a visibly burnt one. When I asked for a different one, they returned with the same burnt duck, chopped up, and claimed it was a new piece.

After expressing my dissatisfaction and deciding not to proceed with the purchase, they threw our money back to us.

Overall, the experience was disappointing due to poor quality control and unprofessional handling of customer concerns at 888 BBQ.

Edit: Would also like to add on they refused to wash their hands after being asked since they were handling money before.

Autism friendly staff💜Joshua accommodated my request to seat in the last end table away from the crowd.My son enjoyed the food and recording himself eat without judgement from other people.The manager I spoke too was nice.There’s not a lot of establishments out there that tries to cater to special needs families.Thank you Joshua and the whole staff for making my son’s day💜💜💜

The customer service at this food store is terrible. Tried no one to order, the food was mediocre, no better than 2 stars.

I have never been so disappointed in a dining experience then this one the customer service was subpar the old lady that served me was very insolent and rude treating me and my family the whole time she exhibited a very unfriendly demeanor as if we were a burden to her the simple requests for additional ordering and basic items like extra chopsticks and napkins were met with great disdain and that I was asking too much of them. In addition their strict policy on closed bottled drinks were absurd. We had closed bottle drinks from the market the restaurant was located in and they needed us to get rid of them in the most unprofessional manner even though we were not consuming those drinks. Most importantly your service is dictated by whether you are Cantonese or not if not you will be discriminated against and hated for something really felt like ruined me and my families experience. Extremely unhappy please don’t come here if you don’t want to be disappointed or not Cantonese. This is my second time coming here really wanted to give the place a chance and not formulate opinions about a place on one bad experience but the consistency seriously makes this place horrible to come to.

I've been here more than once and the workers always seemingly have a problem with you. Like asking for anything other than the bare minimum is asking for the whole world. I've been here 2-3 times and every single time it's like they have a problem with you. (This is just for the ordering on the right side and nothing about the sit down on the other side). You ask for extra sauce or an extra pair of chopsticks and they act terrible. Like I get it, you cannot have drinks but you can't even have an unopened drink in their presence even from the market without them saying something, it's like they are looking for a problem. Do not go here, the food is average, and the service from the two lady staffers (the two older ones, not the younger ones) and the world I've eaten at anywhere in the USA. Do not eat here, don't let them keep up their bad attitudes and antics by giving them your money. It was the same 1 year ago when I tried to come here. They do not change. If you are not Cantonese they do not like you. I never leave bad reviews but this is the second time.

Wow talk about an experience! They don't speak much English and I don't speak mandarin but together we figured out what to order! Had spicy beef with vegetables, spicy seafood soup, chicken wth noodles, and a whole duck! Food was amazing, dare yourself to eat something you've never had! You might be surprised. Staff was amazingly helpful and attentive. Located in a oriental grocery store. Great all around experience!
