I love tapas and this was a great experience. The wine list by the glass was excellent and I got lovely help picking out wines and some of the unfamiliar dishes. I was really impressed by the freshness of the vegetables
If you're like me and want to try a variety of delicious foods, this is the place for you. Every bite was absolutely phenomenal and you really can't beat the price. I seriously wish I had a second stomach to try everything. I will 100% come back, with friends next time :-)
This restaurant really is a hidden gem that deserves to be in the spotlight. The restaurant itself is beautiful, the presentation of the food is amazing, and the flavors of the food are an experience on its own. Top that off with great service and it was a memorable meal that we can't wait to recreate!
A couple items were really great. All the desserts were phenomenal. Unfortunately, 75% of the items we did try were pretty mediocre to me. We didn't get to finish the entire menu as the dishes are surprisingly filling. I'd suggest trying the base or mid tier menu first.
The food was amazing! They had several iberico tapas and I highly, highly recommend you try all of them! We did the $55 per person AYCE and we were stuffed by the end of the meal. We did save room for dessert and those were absolutely phenomenal (the Basque cheesecake is by far the best!).
We greatly enjoy our gourmet tapas. The decor created an authentic atmosphere and service were excellent. We are looking forward to returning!

Outstanding innovative cuisine masterfully prepared. High quality ingredients and attentive service. Almost transported me back to Spain . . .
Overall experience was fine. Some of the food was good, others not good or mediocre. For the cost, there are much better tapas places with a wider variety of items available. Portions are extreme small (1-2 bites/each). Outside of alcohol, they only offered water, bottled coke and diet coke. We were there on a Friday at 5:30 PM and we the only customers in the place. Our server was very attentive. Concerned this place won't last long based on our experience.
A Different Beast is a must-visit destination for tapas lovers. With its warm atmosphere, exceptional service, and creative, delicious dishes, this spot is sure to become a favorite. It's a legit gem, and I highly recommend it for any occasion – the service and food are truly impeccable.
5 stars isn't enough to describe A Different Beast. We tried everything on the Classico menu and EVERYTHING was so good. I don't like tomatoes and yet Chef Kat made them delicious. The Sangrias were amazing. Alex of server, was so friendly and very helpful. I can't wait to tell everyone about this place and to return!

If you're looking for friendly people, excellent tapas and bang for your buck, go the A Different Beast. It's tucked away in a small strip mall, so it's a nice surprise to discover. Our server Miranda was awesome and super helpful. Accommodations were made for dietary restrictions. It's all you can eat, which is amazing! Go!!
