Perfectly cooked filet mignon w creamy bernaise. Asparagus were perfectly cooked and seasoned. Boursin Mac n cheese was delectable We both had the she crab soup, which had wonderful rich flavor but not enough crab. Finished w fresh espresso and a few bites of warm chocolate lava cake. Waiter was Mike but have never had bad service from any of the wait staff!

I have been to Alder and Birch many, many times. Anytime I visit the Orleans I make a reservation and expect an exceptional meal. Everything about the experience is excellent. The only thing I would change is the noise level. There's not much that can be done about that, but it is a very noisy place. If you're looking for something more intimate, look elsewhere.

As always the service was excellent. The cioppino was very good and wish they would put back on the menu instead of only as a special. Chilean sea bass always a good choice.

From the time we arrived until we left we were treated like royalty. The gentleman checking us in saw that we had asked to dine in the bar and he had reserved tables for us. He even got us water and took our drink order while we looked over the menu. Our waiter was Ari, not just a waiter but a professional waiter. When we were torn between two items on the menu he steered each of us to what he felt Ed would like most. His suggestions were spot on. We asked that our garlic spinach be made with just a bit of garlic he made sure it was done that way. My lamb had a perfect crust and cooked medium as I requested, only a real chef knows how to do that. My wife said her sea bass was the best she ever had. We had Ari pass our compliments to the chef and found out that he had worked for Gordon Ramsey, no wonder your food is so good. We were never rushed, the service was paced to our time and we left knowing that we had made the best choice for dinner. Thank you all.

My husband and I have come the last two years. This time around, Drew did an amazing job. We ordered the Waygu meatballs as an appetizer and they were phenomenal. My husband had the Veal marsala and loved every bite. I had the surf and turf, my husband ordering a bone marrow topping for me to try. Absolutely amazing meal, probably the best meal of my life. To finish off, we had a creme brulee and it was just perfection.
