Ive been going to Lucy's since 2017, as they have gotten more popular the food is not as it used to be. I went last night and had to wait an hour for my food, I inquired twice about it. Everyone else has their food so it wasn't as though they were backed up. Once my food came I could tell the injera was different, less moisture, it didn't fold like it used to when dipping into my veggie combo. My food should have been piping hot since I waited an hour as well. ...... Idk .....I was disappointed this go around..

i love Ethiopian food. i could cry about how great this was, after a 2 day fast, i stopped by Lucy last minute to place an order, a party was going on and i was still served and treated in a timely manner. I received smiles and warm embracing energy as if i was part of the party. the restaurant is clean and the food is amazing. i absolutely enjoyed it all.

We did a takeout order for three people. It was the worst beef tips ever. The meat was tough you couldn't even chew it not to mention the fat mixed in. We all ordered medium and it was too hot. No way that medium. The Injera was just as nasty as well It was dark in color. We will never order from Lucy's again. If we hadn't paid cash. I would've called my bank to stop the charge. Needless to say we threw ours away. I wouldn't even give any star not sure why it gave them a one star.

The food here is incredible!! Ethiopian food is one of my favorite foods and this is one of the best Ethiopian restaurants I've been too. Truly a gem in Vegas. The service was a good, all the staff was super nice and one of the ladies told us about the reason they named the restaurant Lucy, after the oldest body discovered in Ethiopia. The restaurant feels very homey. Overall loved it and would come back weekly if I lived in the area!

The most immersive, authentic dining experience. The food was delicious. We ordered the meat and vegetarian combos to share among our party of seven as well as the meat and vegetarian samosas. We also ordered the Ethiopian hot tea, which was deliciously brewed with cardamom, cinnamon, and cloves. Scrumptious! We wished we were able to stay for the Ethiopian coffee ceremony that the kind manager, Hannah, described for us. Thank you to the warm and friendly staff, especially our server, Ashtu. The decor felt like we were transported to another country. There's a stage for live music, but they were playing recorded Ethiopian music when we were there. Highly recommend this experience. We'll be back every time we come to Las Vegas!!

We always have an AMAZING time at Lucy's. We come from far away and talk for days before hand about going. The atmosphere is clean professional and feels authentic. Bez is a friendly and helpful server who anticipates what we need. We look forward to going back.

Such great food and amazing service. Everything was the most flavorful and came to the table beautifully prepared. The ginger tea and coffee ceremony was especially perfect to start and end the meal with on a cold night. Senaite was our server and was very kind to our rather large and unorganized group.

The restaurant was amazing, upon entering you can smell a light scent of the amazing Ethiopian household. The staff was welcoming and friendly. This was our first time trying Ethiopian food and we were unsure what would be best. Bez, our server kindly helped us select popular items including the Lentil Samosas, Veggie combo, and Meat combo. The samosas were a wonderful introduction to the cuisine. The combos had a little bit of everything I would highly recommend if it is your first time as well. The food came quickly after the order was placed and Bez attended us promptly answered any other questions we had. Highly recommend for anyone new and interested to try Ethiopian food and also for those who already enjoy the food!

Nice quiet place , away from the strip. Friendly service and food was very good. Wish they had goat /lamb dishes that I have seen at other Ethiopian restaurants.

Was looking for a goid place to eat and found Lucy. We were greeted walking in the door and seated in the same time. Authentic cuisine is had here, simple, freshly made and on point. A traditional interior the restaurant is bright, open and well lit with a variety of tables and chairs. Family style service, that is friendly, kind and accommodating. We started with the lentil samosas, these golden brown puff pastries are very good. Two to and order, it was a good start. After giving the menu a good look I went for the Talapia with rice and salad. A filling meal with two nice filets, white rice with carrots and a lettuce and tomato salad. The fish was grilled beautifully and the sides both basic but done well. 3.5 Stars - rounded up for the authentic cuisine and kind service 00928

Service was okay. Food preparation may be traditional but the meant was inedible. Ask before you order. The dish looked nothing like the photos.
