Update: They've closed down. There's an eviction sticker from the Sheriff on their door. Don't believe their posted hours. Our group of 4 walked in at 8:30 last night and was refused service. Told they close at 9 (hours online said 10) and they wouldn't seat us, we could only do takeout because they were busy cleaning. Fine, then make your restaurant close at 8 and clean the place when you aren't supposed to be serving people! Lazy customer service caused them to miss out on a big check. I've been wanting to try this place (we live within walking distance), but now that I know I'm going to be treated like an inconvenience, I won't

My father is Guatemalan, and as a child I would always eat Guatemalan cuisine from my grandma. It had been a long time since I had a Guatemalan dish, and was craving some pepian. Literally the only Guatemalan restaurant I could find, with such little reviews, but I gave it a try anyways. I was not disappointed! It's good, especially if you're looking for a fix to your craving. Their Salvadoran food is decent (the pan con pollo is on point the pupusas are decent). The tamarindo was bomb and they serve you chips and salsa before your meal. Overall, a good experience. I feel the price point is a bit high, though. But will probably still bring my father on a future date.

The place is really hidden, and the food is decent. Everything else, :P My wife and I ordered some papusas, and the waitress only came by to give us our menus, our drinks, take our order, the sides for our meal, our meal, and our check. No refills. No new chips and salsa. Once we were served and we were the only customers left in the place, the staff went to a table and talked. The music was louder than it needed to be, and the place has lots of room to improve.

Food is good the service is good but the bad part is that most of the time they have Mexican music and in Guatemala our music is different.

Ordered a carne asada burrito to go. 30 minutes later I got a burrito with no carne? Bad service.

Honestly it is the best pupasa restauraunt in town. It has affordable dishes, delicious chips and salsa, and fresh homemade food! It brings the flavor and culture of Guatemala into our backyard in Las Vegas! A must try!

The bean pupusas are vegan friendly & not made with lard, butter, meat stock or anything of that sort. Just olive oil. They were pretty good. It seems to be a family-owned business, and they were not offended by my annoying hippie vegan questions, which is always appreciated.

The vegetarian fajitas were amazing. Fresh baked fajita bread ( Gutamalan style), beans and rice. A great suprise for a couple of vegetarians on a date. The host Sal was very pleasant and really made it more authentic. Reasonably priced but hidden in a corner of the strip mall across from the UNLV campus.

I had a blast here with all my friends! The food was delicious and the environment was great. The food was made as soon as I order and you can taste the freshness! I will be back for another great experience.

First time here and service was fine. Now I ordered 2 pupusas and the girl who work said they are the best in town. she was wrong! Lol I'll give her 2 stars for her service but other than that I'll have to go to Cali for the best pupusas !
