my family and i use to go here and dine in all the time when we lived in the area. it’s been a few years since we’ve gone but we were in the area recently and we were very excited to eat here again. When we walked in, my family of 6 were seated down. The staff gave us our menus but didn’t tell us that we would have to go up to the counter to order. we waited about 10 - 15 minutes before i went up to ask if we had to order at the counter. when i asked the staff, she said that we had to order at the counter and that it would come in take out boxes with paper plates. if we wanted to eat in take out boxes , we would’ve ordered take out. my family and i did not order a thing, and walked out. the lack of communication and the service needs work. don’t come to dine in here if you want to eat in take out boxes.

I live a block from the place. 3 years ago I ordered some shrimp egg foo young, an I waited in the restaurant for the cooks to prepare the food. When the food was ready and I paid my bill, I drove home, and got ready to eat my meal, low an behold it was nasty. The patties did not have shrimps in them, an how can I explain it, the inside of the patty was raw batter !!! , so ever since that day I have never returned to Asian Wok, and I never will.

We visited based on reviews, but apparently, these people don't know the taste of authentic Chinese food. The pictures are deceptive, and the food was pre-cooked and flavorless.

We have eaten here several times in the past few years and it has always been good. This time, not so much. You have to order at the counter and food is served in foam cups and trays. Not a big deal but we were looking for a restaurant not an Express chain. We ordered dinner plates and found the taste to be "off" and could not finish. Fortune cookies had no fortunes in them and the inside of one was black. No thank you. Clear your own table too. The young man working the counter was polite and quite the gentleman, too bad the place isnt good anymore.

Sooo good. I ordered the combination fried rice, orange chicken and sweet and sour chicken. Absolutely Delicious. Might be family owned and operated but a lot of normal customers went inside and it seemed like they come often. Customer service 10/10. The Orange chicken had extra sauce on it, the fried rice had lots of meats in it, and the sweet and sour chicken was perfectly fried to perfection and the sauce nice and warm on the side. Perfection. Everything was fresh and hot. Hubs loved it too. ❤️

No idea how they got 4.4 stars on Google. Sorry, guys. Recipes are weird, and some of the food quality is suspect. Tried 6 dishes, and none of them even qualified as average.

Food is probably the best fast-casual Americanized Chinese food in this area. I've tried them all. I wish they had a few more options for more traditional "home-style" Chinese stir fry especially the vegetables, but I understand their target market isn't exactly expat Chinese. Overall not bad and the service is quite friendly especially, I believe the young son. At least I think he's the owner's son. His English is native level and he always brings that extra level of politeness when he's there lending a hand for the family. The atmosphere of the restaurant is quirky with some of their inventory shelves and things out in the dining area, but hey, anyone that's traveled abroad knows that's kinda common in Asian culture. I give them a thumbs up. ??
