Cali burrito is amazing - a little small but very good. This place isn’t that spicy, do not listen to the reviews that claim it is

We loved our dining experience at B.S. Taqueria from the modern vibe, lively atmosphere to the modern mexican cuisine and friendly service. We started with drinks, chips and guacamole. We all shared the Bone-In Carnitas pork shank which they had presented before carving and came with salsa verde, escabeche and corn tortillas. In addition, we ordered some Swordfish al Carbon tacos, Carne Asada tacos and the Elote corn ribs with guajillo butter and chile mayor. At the end, we indulged in some churros with Mexican chocolate sauce for dessert.

Ok... so I do believe myself and three other guests got food poisoning at this restaurant. We all got violently ill. At first I thought it was from something else but then I spoke with three other guests in my party and they also suffered from very bad food poisoning.

So we got lost and somehow ended up in some commercial complex still under construction but to our surprise we saw a light at the end of the road. The &undry??, apparently no one used spelled check but the place seemed poppin. So we walked to what we thought was the entrance but nope. So we walked around to what we though was another entrance but wrong again. So eventually came across some unmarked door which swung open and we were greeted by a sign and QR code. However, looking across the room, we realized we hit both sides, and the back. Ohh well, we were in and after a few pleasantries we were seated. Initially, we were impressed by the interior but after looking around we noticed something awkward, not with the Sundry itself but with the clientele. Everyone was buried in their phones, so we figured it must be some millennial thing but to our surprise only a few moments later were were doing the same. See we didn't know but everything was digital and the only way to order. So we started scrolling through the menu, and what seemed like hours later we reached the end but remained overwhelmed and confused. So starting over we realized we liked the menu since the first thing listed was all the drinks. So of course we took advantage of the Wine Wednesday, selected the mystery white wine ($25) and a beer (Karl Strauss, Boat Shoes IPA - $8). Not knowing what to expect, we got a bottle of 2021 Sandhi Chardonnay. Not a fan of Chardonnay or so we thought but damn it was amazing. So as amateur wine drinkers, we quickly googled what we thought was some budget wine and to our surprise we found out we could pick up a bottle for around $30.00 at the local liquor store. So we made sure it was the same bottle and it sure was. So score, we were now up a few dollars. So after a glass of wine we were ready to conquer the menu and make a decision. Well to our surprise we got lost again, we couldn't decide between Indian, Mexican, Italian, or Asian Fusion since it all sounded amazing. It was at this time that a light appeared in the darkness, the one who goes by John, at least we think that's his name. He must have seen the confused look on our faces but he came to our rescue and made some recommendations, most notably the Pork Sisig bowl from Petite Peso. Wow, to say we were impressed would be an understatement. We went on to choose a few more entrees and were pleasantly impressed with everything. We ended up skipping dessert but couldn't get over how delicious everything was, we will definitely be back. As a side note, my wife (after finishing up the bottle of wine) forgot her cell phone at the table but was chased down by another employee who was not in our section but took it upon himself to return it to us. Marco we believe was his name, we owe you one.

A new concept with one kitchen serving many cuisines and ordering on mobile phone. The food was ok. Th real issues is synchronizing food to the table when different cuisines are ordered. Our guest got her food first , followed by my dishes and then 10 minutes later my wife's order. ...that is not good. The place is for young singles who live near by and prefer to drink with a few bites to eat. For all that it is pricey. Many other options in Las Vegas to rush back.

The environment of this establishment was extremely welcoming, with that being highlighted by the service that we received from Ethan. Despite being a bustling operation, he constantly checked on me and my family and made sure everything was going swimmingly. The food was also top-notch. I enjoyed the unagi hand roll and that definitely satisfied my tastes buds. Thank you Ethan and The Sundry!

When this restaurant opened, it quickly became one of our favorite go to spots. Last night I made a reservation online, but upon arrival was told we could be seated in the food hall. Believing she was confused because I had a reservation I said we wanted to eat at the restaurant and were not there for the food hall. We were then informed that BS Taquiera were now a part of the food hall and there were no longer servers, but we could order off the QR code menu. Disappointed, we sat and opened the QR menu. At that point we learned that half of the menu was no longer available. We regularly ordered 5 items, and 3 were no longer on the menu to choose from. We ordered and after a long wait, received our food that seemed to have different recipes. It had not been the previous flavors we knew we loved before. Not to mention keeping the same prices with subpar options and service. This meal was not worth the $70 bill. Sad to say we will no longer frequent this restaurant.

Amazing service , food not so good. The quesabiria tacos looked miserable and the consomé tasted like top ramen.

We really wanted to like this place- but there was a lot during our experience that was just subpar.Let start with general out service; A solid 40 minutes had passed before we got our drinks and I had been hard eying them from our table because we could see them at the bar. As for the general quality of the drinks our group had mixed opinions on that but I enjoyed mine (it was a pinky swear). The food came out at different intervals, and the first interval was cold?? As if it were forgotten on the line. This left part of our group being able to eat before the others. Interval two came out and it was also lukewarm?? The last interval finally came and we still had to request items that didn’t make it like chips and salsa/guac.Full disclosure we had 6 people with about 2 items each (starter + taco or taco + side) and there was no rhyme or reason for the order of the food. If I were to rate the food- it was pretty good but hard to enjoy when you’re starved at your table for an hour.I think the neighboring Japanese restaurant sensed trouble and was able to bring over some fried chicken to share as a promotional piece (which I will add was pretty good) and I feel if all our food had been able to come out 1,) hot, 2.) on time and 3) all together it would have salvaged the experience.Overall- my two cents is I think there is a lot of inexperience happening between management, servers and kitchen staff so what we have is the blind leading the blind. I hope it’ll improve and we’ll revisit at a future date.

Wow, just wow. B S Taqueria is so freaking good in every way possible. Located within the Sundry Food Hall at the Uncommons, this is one of the stand alone restaurants inside. I had reservations both times I went, which didn't seem super necessary as it wasn't busy in their seating area, but they did say reservations are suggested. Both times I went, I got chips & guac and tacos. Their tacos are out of this world good!! I've only tried the carne asada, cauliflower al pastor and swordfish al carbon, and I'd say the cauliflower & swordfish are my top two favorites. Their churros are some of the best I've ever had. So light and fluffy, and that chocolate was so flavorful. Cocktail wise, they have some really beautiful flavors. I've tried the cactus cooler, Como la flor, and pinky swear. I'd say the pinky swear is my favorite so far! The service is really great too. If it's your first time there, they really take the time to explain the menu and ingredients so you can fully understand how special everything is. Everyone is really friendly and knowledgable of the menu. The first time I went, they were out of one of the ingredients for the Como la flor cocktail, and made recommendations for other cocktails that people like if they also like that one. The price is a bit high, but the quality of ingredients seems really high. Even with the pricing, I'd absolutely go back. Everything was amazing!!

Way over priced! Food was decent, small portions. Service was fine. Not much of a drink menu. Very lacking in margarita choices ....only one. More interested I being trendy than good Mexican. We spent a lot of money and left hungry we went to another restaurant .

I love all types of Mexican food and I have a very open-ended palate to eat it just about anywhere and any price point. I'm not the most picky eater, but I pay attention to the smallest details in the food that I eat. These are mental notes that will determine whether I will be a repeat diner at a restaurant. Dishes ordered: Tostada ($21) - I was expecting fresh and vibrant ingredients, instead the bluefin tuna looked unappetizing and was gummy in texture. The spice level from the crema just completely overpowered the entire tostada. The tostada was extremely thin and cracker-like, and tasted stale. Mushroom and garlic tacos ($14) - I liked the flavors of the mushroom, but it was a bit salty and greasy. Hongos adobados ($21) - It was a plate of oyster mushrooms, chopped up grilled nopales and three flour tortillas. When put together, everything tasted dry and disjointed. It felt like there needed be some some salsa or guacamole to meld all the ingredients together. Camarones a la diabla ($27) - The chile de arbol sauce was insanely salty and spicy at the same time. I love salt and spice, but there needs to be a level of restraint and finesse when dealing with these flavors. It just completely overpowered the prawns. I couldn't even tell what protein I was eating. Even if the sauce was mixed with the cucumber, as it was suggested, that would not have cooled down the dish at all. Elote ($13) - Solid. I'm glad the corn wasn't overcooked and wasn't completely slathered in butter or mayo. Tres Leches ($12) - The cake was moist and not too sweet. I particularly liked the fresh macadamia nuts on the top to provide some crunchy texture. I'm not sure if I just arrived on a bad day, or that the chef on this particular day was heavy handed with the salt, but I was extremely disappointed overall in the dishes that we tried. The staff mentioned that in their computer system that it was noted that I liked spicy foods, but it doesn't take into account other guests that I dine with. Unfortunately, my wife can't handle spicy foods at all. My suggestion would be to make a note on the menu whether a dish is spicy. Listen, I don't mind paying a premium for food, it just means that the bar has been set high and it needs to taste good -- plain and simple. Props to the staff for accepting my feedback and for making things right, because that's the only way to survive long term. Unfortunately that meant that our peppy waitress at the start slowly turned into a sour face. I could literally see the energy drain from her face throughout the night as we provided negative feedback on each dish. Not your fault, but please still keep a smile on your face because it affects the dining experience. Most customers rarely give feedback when dining out because they want to avoid a uncomfortable and awkward situation, just like I mentioned. When restaurant staff asks "how is everything?" -- most people lie through their teeth and say "great" even if they hate the food. I used to do that, but now that I've been dining out long enough and I cook quite a bit, I owe it to the restaurant to provide my honest feedback. And that's no BS.

Yelp Review 2023 #211: Located inside The Sundry at UnCommons is a taqueria. When I hear "taqueria", I'm taken back to no-frills, small taco stands in Mexico that serve the best tacos you'll ever have...and they cost $1. This is the bougie taqueria for sure. I mean, the location itself should've given you the hint. But I appreciate being asked before and after getting seated about food allergies. Their menu is simple but promising. For appetizers, they have: chips and salsa, nachos, chicharrones (chicken skin), tostada, and guacamole. They have different taco options (meat or non-meat) and you get 2 tacos for $12-18. Their specialty plates have vegetarian, pork, beef, lamb, prawn or fish options. You can get rice & beans, tortillas, refried lentils, or elote for sides. For dessert, you have two to choose from: churros or tres leches. We tried a few things. Guacamole: I asked for no pico and they definitively delivered without hesitation. The chips that came with the guac tasted and crunched like unflavored Doritos. The guac itself was citrusy and stayed green the entire hour we were eating. We saved some for the tacos. 4/5 Elote: These came out before the tacos which is no problem at all. Elote can be an appetizer. I've never really eaten tacos and elote as a side like I would with a burger and fries. These are elote riblets. The mayo is quite spicy. 4.5/5 Mushroom & Garlic Tacos: Garlicky, flavorful mushrooms. A little greasy. The garlic chips added crunch to these tacos. 4/5 Carne Asada Tacos: Medium rare steak with mildly spicy/tangy green sauce, beans. The blue corn tortilla fell apart - freshly made tortilla does fall apart. 4/5 Churros: When the plate first landed on our table I thought we were in trouble because there were 6 thick pieces of cinnamon-sugar churros that I didn't think we'd be able to finish. But they're actually light, delicate and airy. They can disintegrate while dipping in the Mexican chocolate sauce they come with so hold the churro lightly. The chocolate sauce has a hint of spice, nutmeg/ cinnamon. I'm still trying to think how they made their churros so light. 5/5 Yes, they're the elevated non-traditional taqueria and they seem overpriced for tacos. But everything at The Sundry is! The service was great though.

I went to the uncommon's for an early dinner at B.S. taqueria it's very different than a lot of Vegas restaurants. Our server Yana was wonderful made us feel very welcome and joey the food runner did an amazing job at explaining all the dishes!
