My wife and I have been searching for cafes in the general area for quite some time. We've hit a dozen or so that are rated 4.5 and above on YELP. The Baguette Cafe, as far as we're concerned, is the best for quality, taste, service, and ambience (as cafes go). Although it's out of the way and hard to find, it's well worth the effort to find this lovely little cafe tucked away just off Sunset and the 215 freeway. Our avocado toast was sensational, and my cappuccino was perfect.

I was at the cafe for a morning car event, and the line was long, and the place was crowded. I ordered a smoothie, and went to stay out of the way. The smoothie itself was quite good, lots of flavor, and the right amount. The atmosphere was cheerful and busy, and the staff was pleasant and courteous.

The quality of the baguettes, croissants, pastries, and drinks are superb! Their service is fast and friendly and the ambience is delightful. You could sit inside or outside. Even the people that come here are pleasant and conversational.
Update: uses to be our fav cafe coffee house..this last visit was horrible. Theyvruuned the quiche by overheating it..like rubber. Everything is smaller but pricier. The croissants were overcooked. The chocolate twist we took home was sour..did they put lemon in it?? If not that's not good. And the worse part was later we both got sick. Sodisappointing. What happened???.
