Didn't even get a chance to eat before we walked out. It's over 105 degrees weather. I have a 2 years old and I carry his hydro with water every where we go. We went into the restaurant and waited for the hostess to finish up with his customer on the phone. Once he was done he asked if we were eating in? I replied yes. He then said "no outside drink or food allowed" I then said "it's just water" he said very rudely and aggressively "ANYTHING". I continue to wait there because my husband was using the restroom and had the keys. He just kept looking at me and my kids with a mean look. Whatever your name was, your customer service sucks!!! Never have I been treated like that! There is a way to say things nicely without being so mean!

Surf and Surf Tacos are Great. And The Shimp Battered tacos very tasty.

Probably one of the worst customer experience I’ve had in a while from a restaurant. So this place is next to a gas station, that should tell you something. It took about 15 minutes to get service. When the server came to our table and asked what we would like, he first kept asking us what drinks we wanted. We kept saying water. Then he never smiled and was impatient as we had questions for him.

He then asked me if I wanted my shrimp on my shrimp tostadas cooked or uncooked. I said uncooked. I’m Hispanic so I know what uncooked marinated should look and taste like. This wasn’t it. It was plain raw. You couldn’t even eat it and I was concerned I was going to get sick from it. My husband and I kept looking around to get the eye contact of a server. When we did, they would look elsewhere. It was super frustrating.

When I asked about it, he said it was marinated and that’s how it’s supposed to look like and taste. I’m like not really but ok.

Then our baby started crying and honestly we just wanted the check. They kept passing by avoiding eye contact until we went up to them. They saw we had a crying baby and didn’t give us the check even though we kept flagging them down.

There was one server who was somewhat friendly and told us to check out the new location that will be opening soon.

My husband really enjoyed his shrimp tacos but honestly, the service was the worse I’ve encountered in a long time. I wouldn’t recommend coming here.

The bald server with the pretty blue/green eyes (that does NOT have any tattoos) was walking around picking his nose and sneezing and did NOT wash his hands. I watched him for about 5 minutes of picking his nose and touching people's plates and drinks. After that, we got up and left.

Charming spot on Blue Diamond. The staff is fast and friendly. The seafood is fresh and delicious. The traditional baja fish tacos are spot on. Their smoked marlin tacos are a new adventure for me and glad I took it. Very good food overall. Even the chips and fire roasted salsa alone are worth the visit. Horchata is one of the best I’ve had. Amazing happy hour specials from 3-6.

Hello everyone,

First of all, I want to say that I am not a big fan of writing bad reviews or criticism. We have been regulars at this place since we moved to this area. We love the food and cannot forget to mention the great job done by the kitchen staff and the two very nice waitresses. However, our past few experiences were so unpleasant that for the first time in our lives, we left the restaurant.

I will write about the last experience which led us to leave. We have two little kids (ages 2 and 4), and we always carry their water bottles to every restaurant we visit. So, when we arrived, a server immediately approached us, saying that we were not allowed to have kids' water bottles. I asked why, as we have always come here and never heard of such a rule. He said it was the manager's policy.

Then, a bold guy, who had been rude in a previous encounter, came over. He asked for our drinks first, and then for the kids' drinks, to which I replied they were fine with water. He promptly informed me that kids' water bottles were not allowed. When I asked why, he said he didn’t have a tester to ensure they only contained water. He even insinuated that if there was alcohol in them, it was our parents' issue. However, because he didn’t have a tester, he couldn’t check, and that was his responsibility. It was confusing, as we have been to high-end places where we never had any issues bringing kids' water bottles.

I also want to mention a previous incident where we came with a party of 8 people. Six were already inside, while I was outside getting my kid from the car seat. My husband informed him that we would be a party of 8, and he refused to put the tables together until everyone was inside. My husband explained that I was right outside with the sleeping child and needed to come in with the stroller, but he still refused until my husband agreed to be a party of 6. He could easily see me through the window, but he still insisted on his rule.

We will never go back to that place. The guy there is rude, very rude, despite claiming to have experience in restaurant service. I have worked in the industry for many years, and when you have regular customers, especially those who always recommend your place to friends, you treat them nicely. But he targeted us every time.

To the waitresses, if you read this, I just want to say that you girls are good, always nice and helpful.

This food is exceptional. The price is spot on. They have good selection of drinks and beers. Probably the mist fresh seafood in southwest area. Ceviche sampler is a great dish if it's your first time. You'll order it every time after that too.
