Bake the Cookie Shoppe

Three stars because the cookies are good. But, I don't feel that it was worth $30 plus for a six pack of cookies that aren't even that big. I wouldn't go back. You're really paying for a bag, the cookie box and the little individual bags that the cookies were in.

Established in 2020, but finally with a storefront that opened August of 2024, bake the Cookie Shoppe comes from a group of friends focused on making better Cookies than franchises like Crave or Crumbl and based on five visits so far the results are impressive across the whole collection.

Part of Vandrey Plaza on South Decatur, just North of Sunset and the I-215, it is inside a small space that guests will discover a dozen or more daily flavors ranging from “No Chip” with just the Dough to seasonal inspirations such as Pumpkin Biscoff.

Sold for $4 per round, each individually packaged before entering a branded box and bag, fans of Filippino flavors will be excited to know Ube shines brightly whether “crinkled” on its own or fused with Oreo Cookies.

Happily delivering orders over $65 for free locally, or shipping nationally for a fee, additional classics come in the form of soft Chocolate Chip or Snickerdoodle, though those in search of bake’s best bites should strongly consider gooey Oreo Milkshake or Ube Toffee.

I have NEVER tasted a cookie so delicious in my life. Ube crinkle was absolutely perfection. For a cookie that was packaged and shipped, it was amazing.

Omg!!! These damn cookies are overly addictive 🥴 My fav is the Ube crinkle.. I’m new here but been back 3 times within same week. Too good🤤

Spent $19 on a Dubai Strawberries just find a hair in it. The cups was filled with chocolate and that was so delicious until i found the hair.

If you think you have eaten a good cookie in your life you are wrong. I do not care what your grandma baked. I do not care what your ex brought you during that one apology attempt that still haunts you. I do not care what Pinterest recipe you followed. Bake the Cookie Shoppe has cookies so outrageously good that they make every other cookie taste like drywall dipped in sadness, and trust me its that bad!

Let me give you an idea. I took one bite of a Bake cookie and I swear I heard the Halo theme playing in the distance. Oooooooooooohhaaaaahhhhhh aahhhh ahhhhhhh!

My knees buckled. My soul left my body for a moment. I had a spiritual flashback to childhood even though my childhood did not include cookie inspired flavor twists or packaging that looks like it belongs in a museum. Bake does not just make cookies. They create edible therapy sessions.

So go over there right now, buy a hundred cookies, go home, and binge watch Netflix. I assure you, you'll feel a whole lot better.

I’d like to be fully transparent here. I gaved this place a try many times. It’s tru upsetting how the quality has deteriorated overtime. I come here for one thing only and that’s their ube crinkle cookies. The first impression when I had it was that they tried. It’s not authentic ube nor it even tastes as close as the artificial kind. It could be certainly be improved a lot! I usually buy a dozen to support local business and the packaging and efforts are nice.

Straight to the point: This is NOT REAL ube that you’re selling. Nor does this even taste anywhere near artificial as the “ube” marketed on the shelves of Asian markets!!
I grew up in the Philippines making ube jams from scratch with the actual crop itself from our backyards. Ube is a cultural crop and yes it’s a big deal if you’re Filipino. Being far from home and living in the states I’d appreciate if our cuisine is treated with more respect and authenticity if it will be marketed and labeled off as “ube”
The “ube” crinkle cookies here does NOT HAVE ANY TASTE: it’s just plain sugar and dough that’s just dyed purple!
I haven’t treated myself here in over a year, the prices went up a bit, I thought they improved their quality. Not all. I will not be returning!

Super slow on service. Cashier doesn't know what they're doing. Had to build a box. Unhappy when I asked if they can speed it up. You think just packing baked cookies would be easy and quick.

The cookies are top tier very good, very soft, idk who does the hiring but they do a good job choosing employees. They greet me with a smile every time I walk in. Very friendly environment. 🤝🏾🫶🏾

Came here for the first time today per my wife’s request , got 2 sugar cookies with sprinkles , s’mores cookie and a Dubai chocolate bowl and cookie. The cookies were all amazing ! Nice and soft perfect for the kids too ! My wife and kids rates the bowl a 10 ! We will definitely be back again soon 🙏🏼 highly recommend everyone trying this place !

I went a few days ago for my Dubai chocolate with strawberries, and it had very few strawberries. It was okay, but I didn't enjoy it because it was too sweet. I had to leave the Strip to try it and walk at 2 pm in that heat to get there; I was expecting something more balanced.

Same here! If I can give more than 5 stars, I would. Their cookies were amazing. One of the best cookies I have in my life. Must try
