Barbacoa Hidalguense

Customer service is terrible. From the moment you arrive at the restaurant it seems like you are a ghost, they don't ask you how many people there are to sign up and sit down. 3 hours to get a table when there are people leaving and empty tables. The waitress's attitude is terrible and she is not attentive at all and she doesn't like being told anything. To take the order and for the food to come out is another long wait.

I came to this wonderful place with a friend from Mexico City, so I could experience something authentic!! Boy did I !!!! I recommend every day of the week and twice on Sunday! Thank you for the meal as well as the experience……

The food was amazing. I got the barbacoa and comsome and being from Ixmiquilpan Hidalgo (where the food is inspired from)it doesn't get any more authentic than this. Every thing taste like real authentic home made mexican food. 100% recommend

I recommend this place 100%. The food is super delicious. My husband ordered the barbacoa with the conosome and I ordered 2 chicharrón tacos with salsa and pozole. My mother and my husband's family are from the state of Hidalgo and that is why we stopped by to eat here. We talked to the owner of the restaurant and she was super friendly and is also from the same city as my mother and husband. Don't hesitate to come eat here!!!

The place was OK but it seems like they ran out of inventory early in the morning as soon as they opened It must’ve been a cheap grade of Carne Asada, but the waiter was excellent

The food is delicious, they have everything, the barbecue is finger-licking good. I recommend 100% if you want authentic Mexican food this is it. They are all very friendly and the customer service is magnificent, handmade tortillas, what more could I ask for than coming back again!

We happened to stop here for lunch on our way to our hotel. The food is very very good! I got the queso birria tacos with consomé. The food has an authentic taste and service was great answered any questions we had about the menu.
