I came here to eat Italian, but instead the salad made me sick before I could even get to the main course. As a local I can’t recommend eating here when everyone I know, including myself, gets food poisoning from the salad.
If you do come here, skip the salad. Play it safe and maybe you will get to eat Italian like I was suppose to :(

Just wondering if anyone has any update on when they are opening back up??!!
Great food and all you can drink cheap house wine for free! Was feeling woozy when I left the Resturant but was well worth it and will be back for the food and the wine !!!

I've never been here but I just bought a shirt from your restaurant second hand online, it features a man playing an instrument. Could you please let me know his name? It just made me happy.
Tucked away like a well-kept secret in the heart of Las Vegas, Basstita’s Hole in the Wall is not just a restaurant—it’s an experience. From the moment you step inside, you feel like you’ve walked into a soulful kitchen tucked between dimensions: timeless, welcoming, and filled with the kind of aromas that make your knees weak.
The food? Off. The. Charts. Every bite tells a story, made with love, intention, and that old-school flavor most places have forgotten how to deliver. It’s comfort food with a kick of authenticity—flavorful, unpretentious, and utterly unforgettable.
Service is warm, no-frills, and straight from the heart. You’re not just another table here—you’re family. The energy in the room hums with community, with passion, and with people who know they’ve just discovered something special.
If you’re in Vegas and you don’t stop here, you’re missing out on one of the city’s true hidden gems. Don’t let the words “hole in the wall” fool you—Basstita’s is a five-star soul experience disguised in humble walls.

We've had a 60 person reservation at Battista's for 5 months now. At the time of booking, there was no mention of renovations, nor was there any follow-up when renovations began, or when they first got delayed. When I discovered on my own two weeks ago that renovations had been delayed, I immediately emailed Battista's to ensure that our reservation was still possible so that I could begin making alternate plans if needed. I sent a follow up email 2 days after that. Neither email got a response. I tried to call the restaurant several times, just to get an automatic voicemail explaining the temporary closure. I had to rely on scouring social media for any hint as to when then might reopen. Finally, I got a call from the general manager 11 days before our reservation to tell me that it's been cancelled due to renovations. It was suggested that we try to book at another Italian place that is nearly triple the cost of Battista's, and when I expressed my frustration, I was told they would buy dinner for my partner and I next time we were in Vegas as an apology. I also received follow-ups to my emails several days later from another member of staff explaining that my reservation had been cancelled; clearly there was a breakdown in communication. I understand that renovations can have unexpected delays. What I cannot understand is the complete lack of communication when dealing with a large party that can only be so flexible, and such a miniscule offering as an apology for such an enormous mistake. It's unprofessional, and I expected more from a reputable institution that has been in business so long.
First time dining here, really enjoyed the “affordable” prices. It was good to leave the strip and not get nailed for a $100 bowl of pasta.
Please don't change your salads some ingredients were missing hopefully just this evening and not permanent change. Thanks local frequent diner
Great food and service. Could use a little update decor wise but I think that's also part of the ambiance.
This was our first visit. My husband ordered the lobster and shrimp pasta dish. I ordered the special, pesto chicken pasta. Both dishes were flavorful and delicious!! The garlic bread was amazing. Huge portions! We both ordered the soup. The soup was full of veggies, beans and pasta. It was very good. We enjoyed the included red wine. Service was very attentive and professional. Everything about our experience was wonderful. We will return every time we are in town. Thank you for making us feel like family.

Giovanni our waiter was excellent, made us feel like we were his only table. Atmosphere super fun and unique. Food was tasty and for the price, we were completely satisfied!
As always it was fantastic. The mood in our room was energetic and fun. Chicken Alfredo for husband and pomodor penne for me. It was a very fun experience
We stop in at Battista's every time we visit Vegas & we've always had a perfect experience. Good Italian family food with good sized portions. Love to have leftovers. They're very generous with the wine. The service is quick but attentive. Just be smart and reserve with Open Table and walk around all the people waiting to get in.
This is a very special place I visit every time I'm in Las Vegas. Atmosphere is second to none, the staff is fantastic, and every visit turns out to be an unforgettable experience.
Good food. Only complaint is the $20 share/split charge. On vacation and don't want leftovers. Seems a little steep.
