Customer service is at the bottom of the list of any place i've ever been on this strip. Find another place. There are too many in Vegas a better choice.

Very Disappointed. 2nd time. 1st time was over a year ago and was amazing. Could wait to return. We ate at the Chicago location last year as well and loved it.
This time in Vegas was a complete 180 in the wrong direction.
For starters it was our anniversary, had reservations but we were seated far in the corner of a backroom at a tiny table up against a wall when there were many more spacious tables available. Strike 1. Strike 2. I don't mind paying 25 for a martini but seriously the cocktails might as well have been water they were so weak. Absolutely unexcusable. I even ordered a different type of cocktail after my first glass of water to see if maybe it was just an anomaly but it was just as poor. Strike 3 The Bread. Stale tasting. BAD, Old and hard like it had sat under a warmer too long. We asked to take it off the bill. I should've done this with the cocktails but by now my wife and I were debating just cashing out and going elsewhere but she still had hope so wtf at this point right ? Nowhere to go but up. Let's just say, a good ribeye should have a char on the exterior ....not grey. Quality just didn't rate the price. We will not return

Let me start by saying I first went to the Chicago location a few years ago and it was by far one of the best meals of my life. Thought I was going to get a repeat in Vegas. But no. The ambience and service were great as expected, but the food was undercooked. I got a medium rare steak which parts of it were still red enough that it appeared raw. Same with my cousin's skirt steak, there was a corner of his steak that didn't even look like it touched the flame, it was purple and raw. Approximately 4 hours after dinner I began to feel extremely nauseous and sweaty and I was up all night going in and out of the bathroom. And no I didn't even drink alcohol during the meal or afterwards and hadn't eaten for at least 10 years prior to dining at Bavette's because I wanted to make sure I was hungry for a steak, so it was absolutely something I had eaten at Bavette's. I was going to be pissed if I was too sick to go to the concert the following day, but luckily it passed after about 12-16 hours. But it really put a damper on a portion of my vacation. Will not be back here and will be telling everyone to skip this Bavette's location.

It's a pity that the good quality of the food and the cooking skills gets ruined by such mediocre service.

We got tartare and parws as appetizers, both good and plenty.
The dry aged bone-in ribeye was great and cooked perfectly, the pork chop was also nice.

But the real downside was the service. Somehow it was slow and rushed at the same time.

Our table was in a smaller room and although quiet, it really felt the waiters forgot about us. It took 20 minutes for them to come take our order and only because i went to the main room to get their attention.
Same story at the end of the meal when we asked for the check.
However, In the middle of it, 3 different people came at least 6 times to ask if everything was ok, sometimes one after each other.

I got my steak while i was still finishing the bread from the appetizer and the dishes put on our table before cleaning for the previous course.

I wouldn't be happy with such a service in a 30$ diner, let alone in a 300$ restaurant.

Above average food and service, however very pricey and some of the food is cooked poorly, depending on whoever’s cooking it. You really have to get your items thoroughly checked or you’re gonna get overcooked or undercooked meat sometimes and you need to address it. I should’ve sent it back and I didn’t but when I’m paying $100 for a pork chop and a salad plus a side I should’ve done it.

This was my first time visiting Bavette’s Steakhouse and must say I had a wonderful dining experience. Our server Josh was amazing. Even though we had a very large group he was very attentive and kind. I will definitely be back here and hope I get Josh as my server!

My group came in to Bavette’s for a dinner. Josh, our server, provided us with excellent service as did the sommelier, Sean. We proceeded to the Speakeasy for a night cap. James was engaging and inviting. Top tier service and environment. I can’t wait to return!!!

Steak had to be remade, I ordered a medium rare and received medium well prepared. Otherwise, it was a fabulous dining experience with my family. The house made steak seasoning was mostly salts but was a very nice addition to the meat.

Bone Tactical

As a connoisseur of fine steakhouses and cocktails, I must say, this is as good as it gets. The quality of the meat was exceptional, preparation was outstanding, service was excellent, and the ambience leaves nothing to be desired. I had a hard time finding anything I didn’t like, and this is one of the rare occasions that I don’t have any real suggestions for improvements. Finally, this is quite an expensive restaurant, but you get what you pay for!
