The overall ambiance was decent but the food was quite overpriced for what you get. The Trio Enchiladas were served with no sauce which made the tortillas quite dry. Also, who serves enchiladas without rice and beans? Having to order separate orders for rice and beans was just ridiculous. Definitely not impressed with a restaurant owned by CIA chefs. You guys need to do better!
Food was great, service very attentive. Outside heaters made the temperature very comfortable. Nice experience. thank you
In Vegas for a few days and wanted to make sure I visit Border Grill for their Sunday Brunch. It's been a while since I last visited Border Grill for their brunch and it didn't disappoint. It's located inside the Mandalay Bay Hotel toward the Shark Reef encounter. Their selections, can't remember if they reduced the number of items, but still plentiful. Small plates, my favorite, the Spicy Chicken Tamale (ate this twice). Everything else was good but tried to limit the sweet items. Will definitely come back again.
I was so looking forward to my meal with a friend and my daughter... Our server was fantastic and so were our delicious jalapeño orange margaritas. Sitting outside in the mild weather was a delight. The enchiladas were OK, but expensive for the very small portions... They were more like taquitos with sauce, drizzled over them. There might be a reason why this restaurant was not nearly as crowded on a Saturday night as it was the last couple times I visited. I am not so sure I will be so excited to eat there the next time I return to Vegas.
Third time here. Food came out much slower on the brunch and was not near as fresh as it should have been. The dessert churros were hot and yet were not even done in the middle. Just was not as good as it should be and has been in the past.
The food was absolutely horrible. My steak was shoe leather, the enchiladas were nothing but think tortillas and the soup had zero flavor! I would never visit here again.
Not impressed especially for the price. We had seafood enchiladas and short rib enchiladas. Seafood enchiladas were just mashed ingredients into rock hard corn tortillas. Absolute rip off for 135.00 do not recommend at all.
Was very underwhelmed by this dining experience. I should have set the bar lower for this restaurant but it had decent ratings so we thought we would try as we were staying right in the Mandalay Bay. To begin the hostess was very rude to us when we arrived early for our reservation. We were seated outside and it was quite loud but nice to have fresh air. Our food arrived and the portions were very small and presentation was not great. I ordered flank steak tacos and the plate came with the meat, a small pile of greens and another pile of pickled cucumbers. This was all there was to make a "taco" and it tasted very bland. Was not very filling and cost way more than I think it was worth. Our waitress did not come by at all to check our meals or fill drinks. Overall I would save money and eat somewhere better than this in the future.
Excellent modern Mexican cuisine! The tuna tiradito and any of the enchiladas are my favorites!
We are fortunate to get Leo again as our waiter. He is a natural. So friendly we were there three nights earlier and he remembered us and remembered us from the time before which was two months ago just a super personable guy definitely a benefit to your organization. Food was great as always shrimp tacos and prime rib tacos amazing.

We had a huge group of 18 people. The staff was super accommodating and friendly, the food was delicious and the border brunch + unlimited mimosas were such good value ! Highly recommend.
It was okay, we normally eat here every time we are in vegas, i think this might be the last time for a while. I feel like this time the food was okay, it took such a long time that the server gave us from not very good maize, sugar tamales. They weren't good. We used to really love this place but this last time we got sat next to a birthday party and they were screaming the entire time. I couldn't even talk to my wife and our food was really late and it wasn't great. I don't know if it's a lunch thing, but we normally had rice or beans or something our meal. I dunno. It's too bad really
Food was “different “ and small plates but the massive upside” was that it was very tasty and as much as you wanted! Not everything will be to your liking - so a little “ trial and error “ required! Each ingredient in each dish seemed to “ stand out” - making it a tasting session as well as a meal ! Waitress was very attentive and helpful! A different, but enjoyable eating experience!
Service was a little bit slow to get to us and once we ordered, it took a long time for food. Three people ordered different enchiladas, and it was all tortilla, which was tough and hard hardly any filling. The seafood enchiladas had no flavor. The chicken enchiladas have no chicken. One person ordered the pork bowl and it was very good. The broccolini was outstanding and the cocktails were good. We probably would not return.
Reservations worked well, on time. Food and service meet the expectations of a top notch establishment. Highly recommend this restaurant for great food and service. I've only seen the Sunday menu which is limited but plenty of good choices.
