Benihana

The entire night was a disappointment. I had a reservation for 8:15 to celebrate my wife's birthday. We didn't get called back to a table until almost 9. The waitress rushed through descriptions on the menu even though it was my first time at Benihana. When she brought out soup and salad, she informed us that they were short staffed and it ‘would be a while.' The chef came out about 30/45 min later. While the waitress did offer to give us complimentary drinks and sushi rolls, it took a long time to get those and we had to remind the waitress of the drink order. When the chef finally arrived, his performance was lack luster. The family we shared the table with expressed their displeasure and asked if we felt the same. We then asked to speak to the manager. The manager was rude and dismissive. She talked with us like we were less than and she didn't have time for us. She eventually agreed to comp the entire table 50%. When we got the checks, it didn't reflect a discount so we asked to speak with the manager again. She refused to come back to the table. Upon speaking with the family we shared the table with, we realized they were given 50% off their check. At this point, the restaurant was closing and they started turning lights off, including where we were sitting. It gave us a rushed and unwelcome feeling. At this point, we had just gotten our food. When asked about the check, the waitress said it was because we asked to have our checks split, even though we all had the same experience. I had to physically find the manager myself, as she continued to refuse to come to our table. At this point, she asked for security stating that was protocol for people walking out on the check. At no point was our intention not to pay, we were told this situation would be rectified and it wasn't. The attitude we received the entire evening was not acceptable and I will never come back to Benihana.

Awesome food. Food was great and the service was above par. She would come to check on the table like every 3-5 min. Best hibachi I have had yet. The chef was great and funny! Will definitely be going back

MIGUEL - was theeeeee best ! He order our food correctly and he was kind & considerate. He definitely made our dinner experience at the bar amazing. Our check was accurate and our food was hot, fresh and tasty! Thanks you MIGUEL ! We promised to come back before our vacation is over.

Wonderful experience with the great energy of our server Kyle. He took care of our group!! Would definitely go back once again !

I almost had a heat stroke today at the restaurant I wish I would have I would have sued the shit outta these people for making me and my family eat Father’s Day dinner in 100 degree weather inside not out. The whole table was sweating their asses off it’s crazy. Maybe pay for some new a/c units or get them serviced !! HAPPY FATHERS DAY!!

Chef Johnny made the experience amazing. The kids had a blast watching all of his magic tricks. Definitely coming back and requesting him again.

Emmi and Tammy were phenomenal. By far, hands down, the best chef/waitress we have had at Benihana ever. We appreciate you taking such great care of our family! And I believe the manager’s name Marvin and general manager Jeannette were so sweet as well!! So happy we came to this location!

I loved our chef his name was Paulo I would definitely recommend him. He is a vibe and he is funny!

We got a private little room for our party and it was incredible!!! The chef was attentive and hilarious. Lots of amazing food. The drinks took a long time to get refills on and one of our orders got messed up but overall an amazing time!!!

Let me start by saying that Johnny was our chef/magician. Johnny kept us laughing & entertained. He was one of a kind. Gabby was our server. Gabby handled our large party of ten with professionalism & kindness. The only down sides were that it was really hot in the restaurant which made it a little uncomfortable & when our bill came we were offered a promotion for a free gift card from a different woman, but then Gabby came back after we paid & said her manager forgot to include gratuity so we ended up paying more & it was right as we were about to walk out the door. I felt her manager was more worried about the promotion than making sure our check was correct, but overall we had a great time. If we were to return, we would ask for the same server & chef. Both were very attentive & entertaining.
