Walked in and got a seat in the “convenience store” side of the restaurant. Service was very friendly but inconsistent. Luckily the food was great.Started with cucumber bonchon which was so delicious. Broccoli bonchon was okay. Complimentary Hawaiian rolls were good but nothing extra ordinary.Mains were ribeye bulgogi which was expensive at $70+ but worth it. Best dish of the meal. Garlic chicken thighs were good but not great. Kimchi rice was definitely a star.Great meal and I suspect it would be even better if we had reservations for the restaurant side.

I don't give many 5 star reviews but this place was fantastic! The spicely pork and Lumpia were delicious and they came out so quick! The staff was great and definitely a cool atmosphere. You are missing out if you don't eat here.

The food was underwhelming and mediocre. The waiter was super nice but not super visible. Never came to check in after we got our food. One and done for sure. Wouldn’t recommend and won’t be back.

Roy Choi is our best friend!Wife mentioned this place and has been a HUGE fan of Roy and his chef style for a long time. This was a bucket list experience for her. She had a moment with the short rib tacos, it was priceless.

Best friend was so great! My boyfriend and I are traveling from out of town and we both got the chef menu - $75 per person and it was more than worth it. The food kept coming out and had us stuffed by the end. The watermelon cocktail was refreshing. I genuinely have nothing but positive things to say about this restaurant. The staff was friendly, the live dj was fun.

This place was hopping and reservations were needed, so we sat at the bar instead. The food was absolutely amazing and our bartender super friendly. I gave atmosphere only 4 stars because the DJ was so loud, it was hard to hear each other. But we will definitely go back!

I was super hyped to be a bestie to best friend but I left wanting to end our friendship! For starters I was going to sit at the bar but the bartender ignored me. I opted for a table since I had a reservation. My server Marissa barely cracked a smile. The food runners would slam food on my table and I requested siracha and it never came. I had to flag my server for it. The entire staff didn’t want to be there. The vibes and music were the only saving grace. My Korean tacos sucked!! They were overcooked and rock solid. I’ve had way better in L.A! The bread was cold, the kimchi was boring and my drink was weak. The aguachiles were decent. I souped them up!! But it was not worth 30$. The scallops were paper thin. I WILL NOT BE BACK!! BESTIE YOU FIRED!!

You’re paying more for the atmosphere than the food. The food is decent, fairly yummy on a few items actually, but it is just way overpriced. Came here on a Thursday night with a couple of friends who are from out of town. One of them has had this place on his list for years as he is a big Roy Choi fan.He ordered the Chef’s dinner, and this apparently requires “whole table participation”. At $75 per person, I guess that’s on par for strip pricing but I could’ve had a much better meal for far less if I just drove 2 miles over the Spring Mountain Rd. and hit up any of the Korean joints there.$6 for a small cup of soda (free refills if you can find the server). $19 for a plate of sub-standard lumpia. $50 for the tip. $350 for 3 people. Not worth it and won’t be coming back.

Great vegas outpost for Roy Choi combining a bodega, bar and restaurant into one. Mixing the high end vegas stuff with the original Kogi stuff. Good cocktail, natural wine and craft beers and DJs spinning their favorite vinyl.

Really wanted to love this restaurant after hearing so much praise for it in the past few years, but it fell drastically short of expectations. For a restaurant opened by someone who is obviously extremely proud of his Korean heritage (evidenced by the numerous family photos plastered all over the menu), this restaurant’s LA Korean dishes are mediocre at best — the LA Kalbi tough and overcooked, the street corn ridiculously salty, and the kimchi and banchan overly fermented and so so sour the restaurant should be embarrassed to call themselves Korean-inspired. Best Friend’s only saving grace is its free Hawaiian rolls, which acted as a nice reprieve from the general trend of overly salty and overly sour dishes, but I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting Las Vegas.

Wow!It was my first time in Vegas, and this was the only restaurant that was on my list of absolute must-dos, and it absolutely did not disappoint.Came with my partner for date night, and they (extremely graciously!) did a vegan version of the tasting menu for me, while allowing my partner to do the regular non-vegan version. The miso squash was an absolute standout, but the eggplant schnitzel was a close second. The cocktails (we both had the watermelon) were delicious and well-presented. The shaved ice was a showstopping dessert, and such a large portion that I think I only managed to eat a third of it! Even my usually kimchi-averse partner loved the fried rice- the vegan version is kimchi-less, sadly for me, but I'm sure no less delicious. Our server (Austin, I believe - though this was a few weeks ago so I'm not 100%) was attentive and friendly, the food was fantastic, and the cool bodega-speak easy vibe absolutely can't be beat- the Pac Man arcade cabinet is a nice touch.Dietary restrictions: Lots of vegan options- even a full tasting menu if you ask for it!
