We discovered this wonderful place for some Shanxi special food. The price is very good. Since it is inside of the supermarket, the place is not spacious but ok if you want some authentic Shanxi food.

No idea why there are such high reviews. Average food, environment, service, management are close to nothing.
Give me the soup after pork hamburger getting cold.
Did not give me the to-go if I didn't mention that .Anyway, for the first and last time.

Dirty and crowded place. Queuing for nearly an hour, had high expectations but the dishes weee just normal, not even tasty. Also they didn’t mark the spicyness of dishes, which is so stupid. Who would expect cold noodle with sesame to be spicy?

This store is terrible and not worth going to. The portion is so small that you won’t be full. Wonton has no filling, I repeat, no filling, just the skin. I went to question the proprietress, and she directly said: Our wontons are for soup. Just so arrogant. There is also a handling fee for swiping the card, obviously to pay less tax. I would rather not eat than go.

The food tastes satisfying and the service is excellent.
The environment is really not good, it is next to the toilet in Shunfa Supermarket. . . . While waiting in line, I smelled the fishy smell of seafood in the supermarket and lost my appetite.

This place is located inside the SF grocery store. Not a place you would expect to find good, down to earth, Chinese food. It’s food from a specific region of China, Shanxi, so don’t expect it to be what Americans are used to (no orange chicken here).

The lamb noodle soup had the most amazing broth and delicious homemade wide noodles. Of course, you have to try the cold noodle and the cumin lamb pita/burger.
These 3 dishes were the perfect combination: the lamb soup was a great way to cool off the spicy lamb pita and cold noodles.

The tables and chairs are clean, but don’t expect a fancy restaurant, and the staff is nice. Prices are very reasonable.

We will definitely come back to try more items

Very Authentic ?

Authentic Chinese noodle place. Noodle is delicious and big serving. People in the restaurant are very nice. I forgot my bag in the restaurant the man at restaurant is so nice to bring it out to me to return my bag. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Very native Xi'an flavors! I wish I had a bigger appetite to enjoy more. They even offer ICE PEAK, the famous soft drink from Xi'an. Highly recommend!
