Oysters opened on site, you can order several varieties. $33 a dozen, the smallest variety is sweet and delicious. The bread before the meal is also good. The fried fish and chips are not as juicy as the ones I have eaten before. The service is friendly. The casino is old but popular

My waitress was great. Came over quickly and checked on me frequently. My main problem was with the foods and drinks. The only champagne they had was honestly disgusting - it was syrupy sweet and tasted cheap. The brut rose was tolerable but incredibly overpriced. The oysters were also warm and had a bit of a fishy taste/smell about them. Don’t think I’ll be going back.

My favorite oyster bar in Las Vegas. The energy is live and the service is on point. My go to is the Louisiana gold seal oysters, which are sweet with every bite. The combo pan roast is another delicious eat, so creamy, savory with every bite, again. A place to try with so many other items to taste.

Had the lobster roll, the wife had the jambalaya. the staff here was stellar, like every other place here at South point. The lobster was stuffed with lobster, so good. My wife’s jambalaya was spicy and delicious also. Had a Kirin on draft, cold and smooth. Highly recommend Baja due Oyster bar.

Annie has been here fir a few years. I cone twice a year for golf. The food is good enough but her customer service is always on par! She is funny and makes the meal marvelous. An uncanny knack of what I want without even knowing me. I only cone twice a year! Diamond in the rough! Good enough eatings.

I've had the oysters Rockefeller every time I'm in Vegas and they are always awesome 👌 fresh 😋 and perfectly season. Both of their soups chowder are full of clams and fish 🐟. Service is excellent Yoshi

For such a busy place the service was fast. Also, you can go play in the casino while waiting on a table when you proved your cell phone number they will text you when your table is ready.

Food was good and fresh.

Priced well.

Food is good, management is horrible. We waited for over 2 1/2hours when they said the wait would be 1-1 1/2. The table we were waiting for ate and cashed out, and 2 of their friends sat down and ordered after their party ate and cashed out. We asked for 2 separate tables for our bigger party. They told us we’d have to be put on the list for 2 smaller tables and have to start the 1 1/2 wait time all over again. Wait staff was amazing and made our experience better.

Do not waste your money or time eating their gumbo probably the jambalaya and not the greatest either I ate the gumbo tonight. It taste like it came out of a Campbell Soup can disgusting. I can’t believe they want $30 a plate for this. I normally eat gumbo at the casinos and I thought well what could go wrong well terrible it’s like they just put, a soup like stew sauce it’s not gumbo. It’s nothing close stations is the best I gave it a shot. Will never eat there again. I suggest you stay away.

If you're searching for a taste of authentic Southern comfort in Las Vegas, the gumbo at Big Sur Oyster Bar in South Point Casino is a must-try! The gumbo was rich, hearty, and full of flavor. From the first spoonful, it was clear that this dish was made with care and tradition in mind. The broth had the perfect balance of spices, with a deep, smoky flavor that was complemented by the fresh seafood and andouille sausage. The shrimp were plump and tender, and the sausage added just the right amount of heat and richness. The portion was generous, and the consistency was spot on—not too thick, but substantial enough to be satisfying. It was served over a bed of fluffy white rice, which soaked up the flavors beautifully, making each bite more delicious than the last. The ambiance of the Big Sur Oyster Bar also added to the experience. The casual yet inviting atmosphere made it a great spot to enjoy a comforting bowl of gumbo, whether you're dining alone or with friends.
