This was my first time here since I'm from out of town. The food was delicious!! Worth every penny. Service was wonderful.

Great atmosphere. Great service. I had the Ribeye which was well prepared. Truffle Mac and Cheese didn't hit the spot. I would go back.

I thoroughly enjoyed my dinner at Oakville. This is a hidden gem within Tropicana. The service was great. I highly recommend the bone in ribeye.

From beginning to the end of our dining the dinner and the service were 5 stars. My wife and I shared appetizers and salad. Both were brought by Amber & Laura; they went the extra mile at every step. We each ordered Australia Steaks and we had her New York Strip Butterflied to prepare it medium well. My ribeye was prepared medium rare. Fantastic cuts of meat! Service was impeccable. Our experience was wonderful! Be humble and the world is your oyster. Service responds to appreciation. Great service!

Thank you so very much. 5 stars customer service. Very clean entrance, clean tables, clean inside & clean outside. Compliments to the chef and kitchen staff members. Miss Amber was my waitress she was very professional, and the other staff members were attentive with fast water refills and empty plates clean up fast and courteous. I spent over $200 amazing dinner

Great deal with travelzoo coupon. Great foods and service. Steak is medium cooked but seem slightly little over.

We are locals and have tried most of the steakhouses in Las Vegas. We got a coupon to go to Oakville thinking that its probably not that great, but the coupon would make the meal tolerable. However, we were blown away by the meal. Our waitress was amazing. She was attentive and gave great recommendations. Our steaks were perfectly cooks and the side dishes were enormous. We took have the food home. Oh, and did I mention the prices were great for a "Strip" restaurant. Will definitely go back...even without a coupon!

My cowboy friend and I had dinner at Oakville restaurant in Tropicana casino. The filet and prime rib was absolutely amaxing. Even the loaded baked potatoe, shrimp cocktail and caesars sld. My waiter Michael was very pleasant and professional. Thank you Michael and your fabulous team, we had an enjoyable relaxing time before the rodeo.

We went to Oakville to celebrate a birthday. Everything was good except our waiter, Michael. He was the worse I have seen in an upscale restaurant. He acted annoyed. Never smiled. A miserable person. I requested no garnish. He brings it with garnish and said they do it anyway. He proceeds to remove it with his hands, took a napkin from the other table and wiped part of the plate. I said there was a birthday. They never acknowledged it. I would go back, but request we do not get Michael.

From the giddy up this place had all of the allure and ambience of a 7-11. I am mystified at how we managed to turn our waiter Michael against us so quickly but he was curt and dour for the duration. The table was too small and we had to ask for empty glasses, bread plates, etc. to be removed several times. The food was good, other than a cold baked potato, but $85 for a steak in such a humdrum, charmless environment is ludicrous, even by the oh so ludicrous standards that Vegas now embraces. Even with a mild hangover I can think of 10 steak houses, without hesitation, that are far better for the same money or less. We're locals and know that we have many choices; I can't imagine a circumstance that would encourage me back here.

It is a hidden location and windowless restaurant inside Tropicana. The service is very good but the steaks are nothing to be excited about as far as the taste and flavor.

I recently stayed a night at the Tropicana and I took the opportunity to try the Oakville Steakhouse formerly known as Biscayne. I had a reservation for 5:30 on a Sunday evening and it was very quiet. I was shown to a table in the dining room in the area that's away from the bar. I was greeted by my server, Amber, who was very good! She took my order for an iced tea and it was brought quickly. I had questions about the size of the appetizers and the sides which she capably answered. I ordered onion soup for a starter, the 14 ounce Australian Tajima Wagyu NY Strip steak, and a side of garlic fries. I ordered the steak cooked blue. The onion soup came. The broth was rich and the caramelized onions and melted gruyere with small crostini were very good. I'm glad I opted for a smaller starter. The steak came along with the fries. The steak was cooked blue just as I ordered. It was tender and the salt and pepper on top was just the right amount. With the steak were two peppers with no heat but good flavor. The side of garlic fries was very good. Not really fries but slices of potato deep fried and tossed in garlic and some salt. I didn't finish the fries--dessert is more important. Looking over the dessert menu, there were several common items but there was one that stood out, the blue moon bread pudding. On the menu it's described as blueberry mousse and fried blueberry banana pudding. When Amber brought the bread pudding, she cautioned me about touching the chocolate shell coated with blue. She told me to be careful about getting the blue on my fingers because it was difficult to wash off. It was a great tip. I had a blue tongue even after brushing my teeth following dinner. The blueberry was such a change for bread pudding and the blueberry moose in the blue moon was very good. During dinner, my iced tea was refilled several times without needing to ask. The restaurant was a quiet place and it was an enjoyable dinner. Amber is truly a gem! She made the dinner that much better!

The lobster and the cold cut shrimp on the head are very delicious. The waiters here are very busy. You must always pay attention to them and call them. Finally, when you pay the bill, he will pay attention to your eyes. He will make you feel that they are doing a good job and get a good tip.
