This was the best breakfast I've ever had! I got the vegan steak omelette with hash browns and toast, and my husband had vegan steak tips and eggs and everything was literally to die for. This is everything you could dream of in a diner. The vegan menu is huge! This was our first time, but we are going to make it a regular spot of ours. I cannot recommend this place enough!

I absolutely love and appreciate how many vegan options this restaurant offers! The servers are so polite and helpful and the atmosphere is cozy. We had the loaded fries (vegan) and the chilaquiles (vegan). The food was so delicious and piping hot. My non-vegan husband loved both dishes!

My French toast was a bit overcooked or close to burnt on one side. It was ok. For the money I can go places closer to me. We wanted to try them out for the vegan menu. My daughter is vegan . We went in a saturday and it was crowded. Sp recommend if you try it go another day.

From the time we walked in the door until the time we walked out the door, the service was outstanding. Damian delivered excellent customer service. We ordered the Denver omelette with toast and potatoes, also the beef tips with grits instead of toast and rice instead of potatoes. The grits definitely were the best I have had in a long while. The food was outstanding and felt more like home cooking. Food was served hot and fresh, exactly how we ordered. The restaurant is very nicely set up, clean and inviting. We definitely will be returning.

We LOVE the diner. We are Vegan and it's one of our favorite vegan spots. Definitely a friendly staff, clean environment, cool vibe, and EXCELLENT food. In fact we're always so stuffed by the time we finish that we've yet to have room for a vegan desert. Keep up the great work. :-)

We were on our way to another restaurant near by, which had a line out the door, decided to give this diner a try, we were so glad we did. We were seated immediately, our friendly server approached us right away, food came out on a timely manner. The Food is delicious, I ordered the Biscuits and Eggs, my husband ordered the Fried Steak with Grits, plus we had French Toast with Fresh Strawberries . Everything looked great and tasted delicious. They are doing things right here. Also, they have so many Vegan options. The decor is just like the name Black and Blue, they also played oldies music. Will definitely be back soon!!

Edit: back two years later and still slaps. Had french toast again but with chicken tenders too. Stunning. Plus vegan “secret menu” and cheesecake (actually more vegan cheesecake than non-vegan!)
So good for vegan options! The service was amazing - very friendly and knowledgeable staff. I got the French toast and it was delicious.
