As someone with a caffeine allergy, I was disappointed by both the limited options and poor service at this boba shop. When I inquired about caffeine-free drinks, I was told only their slushes were available. I did not want a slush. Traditional caffeine-free options like brown sugar boba and taro milk tea were off-limits because, according to the staff, they add caffeinated tea to both – which is unusual since these drinks aren't traditionally made with tea.

When I asked if they could prepare these drinks without tea, they refused. I'm unsure if this is because they pre-mix their ingredients (which raises concerns about freshness) or if the staff member was simply unwilling to accommodate my request - which is strange, how is it so difficult not to add an ingredient?!

We did end up getting a drink for my husband (mango slush), but even that was disappointing. He noted that it tasted artificial and threw most of it away, which aligns with my suspicion about pre-mixed ingredients.

The service was equally disappointing. I visited during mid-day, and the cashier seemed visibly annoyed at having to put down her phone to assist me. She would rather lose my business than help me find a suitable caffeine-free alternative. This has been, by far, the worst service and most limited selection I've experienced at any boba shop (and I drink boba 3-5 times a week). I will not be returning to this location or any Boba King. There are plenty of much better options around LV.

This was my second visit to Boba King and unfortunately, it was just as disappointing as the first. At 6:30 PM on Tuesday, October 8th, I found the place completely dead with two workers sitting on their phones. While I don't mind employees being on their phones when it's slow, the state of the establishment was unacceptable.

The light bulbs were covered in dust, the windows were dirty, the walls looked distressed, and the ordering/dining area was generally run down. I attempted to call ahead with some questions but never received an answer, which only added to my suspicions that the place was in poor shape.

Given the lack of cleanliness in the lobby, I now have serious concerns about the safety and hygiene of their boba. This experience has left me questioning whether I'll return in the future.

Horrible service, with the 2 girls in there, I came at 5:46pm, whoever is in that's shift, very rude! When I asked to repeat the order, she sigh and turn the screen at me very mad, so I can look up myself and then when I gave her the stamp card, she was mad, stamped it and put it on the table, she didn't hand it to me, and she also put the receipt in a rude way in the table, didn't say thank You, turned around and walked away, I have never received such bad service in this place before, I always come here, because I think is the best place for Boba, but I absolutely won't be coming back to this location, I hope someone addresses this.

Miss “Babygurlzz” Fireball

Went to grab boba before they closed I arrived there around 7:55pm and as soon as the employees saw me they acted like I wasn’t even there. I could see the guy at the cash register look directly at our car but once my son got out he looked down and then they proceeded to turn on the lights after he took a picture of their sign. Really this place needs to get themselves checked in order. Maybe schedule your employees accordingly. If you don’t want to pay them to stay past 8:00pm change your service hours and put a notice for all us that are driving 20+ min stating last call before we lock our doors!!!

Rachel, who helped me, was the best customer service i have received from a boba place. She helped me choose what I would like from asking me questions, gave me options and let me know what the flavors taste like, and offered extra boba for being there for the first time. 10/10 highly recommend this place and highly recommend a matcha horchata with almond milk!
