My buddy and I came 30 min. before closing time and expected to be forced to take the food to go. The Lady owner greeted us with a warm personal smile and said that if we wanted to enjoy her food and relax at the restaurant, instead of driving 25 min. home with takeout, she was delighted to accommodate us. My wife manages 2 very popular Thai restaurants in SoCal, so I'm spoiled with excellent Thai food. Happy to report that Boun Thai kicks butt. The food here is not Americanized Thai. Boun Thai serves the real deal. Fresh ingredients, spized to your level and cooked while you wait. Unbelievable food, staff, and an owner who really cares about her guests. It doesn't get better than this. 💯!!!

This is an authentic Thai cousin! We had oyster omelette, papaya salad, fish cakes, it was all good. The seasoning was perfect, not overly sweet. Highly recommend this place and I will be back.
