This place could have been great, but most of the food was served luke warm or just cold. I tried to get some hot (I would have taken warmer) mashed potatoes, but the guy working said they don't have any hot ones. He didn't even try to warm up my potatoes. He forgot about our habanero slaw until we were almost done with the lunch. $30 for a 2x2 and the give you a 1/2 full ramekin of bbq sauce. The BBQ sauce was also served cold. Chicken drumsticks were good, but not enough BBQ sauce in ramekin to dip the drumsticks into. Southern greens were also luke warm.
I wanted to love this place, but when the food is NOT served hot and the server doesn't care, it makes it tough to even like it.

Employee/owner helped me today, asked how many ribs on $36.00 3 meat combo. He told 3 baby back ribs so I was like sounds ok, ordered Brisket and smoked/fried chicken. Ordered mac n cheese and fries you get a ton of fries and small cup of mac n cheese. Brisket was about 2 large slices and 1 small slice, Brisket was good gave us no knives just forks. Ribs gave us 2 ribs instead of 3 like we were told. Smoked/fried chicken gave us 1 big leg and 1 small leg tasted like leftover chicken from day before that was used. Honestly I have 20k of views take your money and go to Soulbelly only a block up the street co comparison between them.
The guy plays his music so loud you cannot hear at your table plus he sings to it great ok ? I am fine with the music but not so loud. $4.00 for each can of soda so be ready for that also. At $2.00 each sure I pay it but at $4.00 a can no flipping way.
Cold food, small portions, very expensive for what you get. I will not be back. I should have went to Soul Belly. It cost over $100 to feed three people, I wouldn't be complaining if it was any good at all.
