One of the best places to bowl in Sin City!

Great venue but predatory bartenders. Got charged for 2 extra drinks (+50). After noticing the error we pointed it out to the bartender who informed us they’d void the charge and that the drinks were on the house.

Nope. Still got charged. Disappointed by Brooklyn Bowl, especially being a local who enjoyed the venue in the past.

My partner and I went to see Blue October! They were fantastic--it's a feeling experience with that band, not just a listening or viewing one. It was Justin Furstenfeld's birthday, too, on December 14th! Anyway, the venue was great, and even though it was general admission, we still had a great line of sight to the stage. It was awesome all around!!

Drinks are ridiculous. 20 bucks for 2 8oz Red Bulls. They don’t accept cash either, so that’s inconvenient for us since in Vegas it’s common to carry cash for gambling.

Security doesn’t do its job. I walked in and skipped the metal detector twice at the show. One point I realized I still had a knife on me, so, maybe tell security to do their job. Also they don’t stop people from crowd killing. Multiple people injured from being assaulted from behind and security didn’t do anything about it. So if you take your kid to an all ages show be prepared to be judge jury and executioner.

Sound was awful. Whoever was running the board was not good, and clearly inebriated.

Overall, super expensive experience and it was so bad I didn’t even stay to see the headlining act. Which was the whole purpose of us being there in the first place. Never again. Worst venue experience I’ve ever had and I’ve been to em all. Save your money or catch the next leg of whatever tour you’re trying to see, in the next town. It’s worth the travel , I promise.

Sunday, 6:30pm-11ish Blue October concert. The outside looks like an old theater, but with 10 bouncers guarding it. The entry was a bit confusing, but once inside it was even more confusing. I followed the sound of music up the escalator to the second floor and into the fog. Still confused I followed the music to a foggy open area where 100+ people were standing - the Bartender told me I had arrived at General Admission. After looking around a bit - getting familiar, in case, you know, in case - I'd have to say, the best seats in the house, in my opinion, are in the bowling area - open seating with lanes, that runs the length of the left side of the stage and large seating area that are in front of the stage, all the way to the bar in the back... and the General Admission standing area, where it enters. It's close enough to see the band up close and comfortable, far enough away for better sound, people can mingle with new faces, bowl, dance, hang out, drink, and snack all while listening and watching the band. We had General Admission tickets, where you have to be on the wall to watch the band live. But, you know what? That's okay. The tickets were given to me, we were more than an hour late, I'm not familiar with Blue October and the opener kinda sucked. If we had seats we wouldve been stuck sitting in a seat all night, obligated to stay. But, because of the open GA, I had an amazing time. We spent most of the time being romantic outside on the beautiful, very private balcony where seating has a great view of the Link in the distance. Just inside there's a cozy seating area with live monitors and is where, for a short time, we watched the band play, cozied up together. Bonus, across from there is one of those fun photo booths that for a few bucks we got 6 crazy snapshots to remember what a great time we had. Theres also another bar next to the seating area and an open area where the band was selling concert memorabilia, then later the band mingled there with the audience. The sound inside was sorta like the Hollywood Bowl, echoey and hallow - maybe because of the openness?? The bar tenders were friendly, the bouncers were kinda strict about their job, the price was reasonable, the music was pretty good, the lighting dim and colored, the venue foggy... surreal, like a dream. A dream that is still reverberating in my head. I don't drink, but the next day I had a hangover - a Vegas Hangover. And a big smile.
