Buca di Beppo Italian Restaurant

Service was great. Food is a little overpriced especially garlic bread $20 and fettuccine was great but had to ask for extra sauce cause very dry.

Asked for only a side meatball and got charged for 2 sides. But I paid the full price anyway.

The service was outstanding the quality and taste of the food not so much! Sadly we will probably not go back anytime soon .

Server was slow and not engaged. It honestly feels like the servers don't even try because they know their 18% gratuity is counted in the bill.

Had a great experience on night before Thanksgiving. Our server was Ken and he was very friendly and helpful with the menu. Chicken Marcela was top notch. Great cocktails too

We stopped in to Buca for our grandson’s 21st birthday celebration with a party of 10. He an avid lover of all things pasta.

We started on with a Cesar salad, fried mozzarella, spicy shrimp, cheesy garlic bread and drink pear paseco spritz suggested by Jared aka Jdog (who was outstanding.

We then we ordered Lasagna , Chicken Alfredo. Chicken Carbonara and Spicy Chicken Rigatoni (the star of the pasta’s)

Top off with the largest brownie and ice cream dessert ever seen in a large martini glass

A wonderful time and lots of food to go to be eaten later.

We went to other Italian restaurant but this one Buca Di Beppo is better.
Its good for family-get-together.
The food was worth the price and the service was great too.

Atmosphere
Very nice sit-down family restaurant. Old-style furniture with many different decorations and decor as if the restaurant was in an Italian-American setting. Speakers were playing some vocal jazz shaping the whole vibe.

Food
Stared off with Caprese and Steamed Broccoli. Caprese was delicious, large sizes enough to feed around 3-4 with lots of flavor. Steamed broccoli also went hand in hand with the other appetizer. Simple, but effective in taste. The first entree we got was a margarita pizza, the pizza was a flat bread with even ingredients and cooked to the crispy side, striking in taste, but could catch some people off guard in texture. (4/5) The second entree our family ordered was the baked rigatoni. The serving size was huge just for the normal family and could easily feed 4-6 people. The pasta tasted very zesty and the sauce and cheese fused together to create a delicious combo that was strong and savory. Only complaint with it is that there is about a 7:3 ratio of sauce and cheese to pasta, which is something that definitely wouldn’t be a problem with many. (4.5/5)

The is the best service I have had in years. Our waiter Amanda knew the restaurant like the back of her hand and told us what discontinued items were and her recommendations for portion size and menu items without having to even blink. Those recommendations turned out to be correct, too. She would constantly check up on us and clear plates in a flash after they were finished. There was an instance where I was going to ask her for to-go boxes and before I could even finish my sentence she turned out to already have two in her hand. (6/5) If any staff sees this, make sure to know that Amanda knows how well her service was.

The food is always excellent. Great menu options and good size portions. We don't have a location near us but every time we travel to Las Vegas or Peoria it's a mandatory dinner.
