Went here with our best friends for the husband's 60th birthday under his recommendation from a previous visit. She (and I) are gluten free and she bragged on how they had GF Chicken Farm (baked/grilled chicken) over GF pasta... they didn't have it. Said they never had it. The pasta options were poor, they offer GF pasta but not GF meatballs ... WHY?!?!?!? It's not that difficult to make GF meatballs, I make them at home all the time. I ended up with the Bronzino, where is was sub-par and just OK the veggies were great! My point is, I came to eat Italian food, which I didn't get to have. My husband had the lasagna and said it was very good. Our friends had a Filet Mignon and the husband had the Chicken Farm. Overall the food was average and our waiter was just as average. With as many GF options as there are in the world these days, Buddy V's needs to up their game. Can't say I will recommend this place and unless I'm with someone who insists on going back there, I won't go back. There are far better Italian places with more GF options to choose from.
My family and I had a reservation and we get a table in the middle of nowhere, my chair was broken, my daughter asked for pizza and there was no pizza, the bread was served late, etc. The only thing to highlight was the good service from the busboys because it seemed that our waiter was in a bad mood.
I wanted to switch out the angle hair pasta for another pasta and the waiter talked me into another pasta dish with other veggies. He ended up charging me 12.95 for the additional veggies and that made my pasta dish almost $36. He did not tell me in advance that he was going to charge me $12.95 for the change. All I wanted to do was to change the pasta.
Service was great and the food was good. The shrimp pasta was very tasty. The steak was good as well. The vodka pasta sauce was good, but I think it would have been better without the added chicken in it.
We had a party of 12, and reserved a private room in the back which was very nice. Service was really great. And most importantly, the food was delicious - everyone enjoyed their meals. Portions were very generous too - several of us had leftovers for the next day. All the apps were great - Cheesy Garlic Bread, My Wife's Eggplant Parm, Buddy's Caprese, and Grandma's Meatballs. Ordered My Mother-in-law's linguine shrimp scampi at the recommendation of our server - wow just wow!! And the desserts ... you can't skip desserts made by the famous Cake Boss. We ordered one of each and shared - the unanimous favorite was the Nutella Cake which tasted similar to a chocolate lava cake ... the cheesecake and creme brulee a very close 2nd. The Italian birthday cake clearly won for presentation. FYI restaurant is located at the Venetian Hotel - parking is free, no validation needed. There was a cost for the private room, and we had to meet a minimum too ... we ended up ordering more drinks and then some food for our lunch next day to meet the minimum :) I would definitely come back!
Good food. Great chocolate martinis. Staff is attentive and friendly. Reasonable pricing and nice atomosphere. Cheesecake was great too.
The food was delicious! The service was impeccable. Ruben, the server/server assistant was the most attentive for drinks and refills. And he also offered an appetizer. He was very friendly and outgoing. Would recommend to go again when in Las Vegas.
Have enjoyed the Thai food all over Vegas. Added this place over the weekend and already back. The duck curry is really good. We coupled it w the spicy eggplant (w veggies). The eggplant is so tasty. Portions are good size and service is wonderful.
This is a long overdue review, but it is well deserved! The food was amazing and customer service from our sever was wonderful however, the main reason that I will be back in March a year later is for the entertainer Nicholas. Upon arriving a few minutes late for my mother’s birthday as she is handicapped and the taxi cab driver dropped us off on the complete opposite side and trying to call with no answer to let them know, the host at the front was not understanding and she did not try to accommodate us at all. Nicholas walked by at that time and could see our disappointment( as this is all she could talk about wanting to go while in Vegas) and he went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of. He sat us near him and sang to my mother. THIS meant everything to her! It’s moments and memories like this that will stay with you forever. Thank you Nicholas and I’ll see you soon for my Birthday!
We walked right in on a Wed night, server was great and service overall great. Please was calm for Vegas. We had Caeser, Pizza and Sunday Super (think it was called). Over all we enjoyed it and for Vegas the price point is not crazy. Not going to say it was the best Italian ever but it was solid. I would go back again.

My favorite dish is carbonara and Buddy V's does a great version. I always come here when I visit Las Vegas. Service is always good.
Went to Buddy V’s for anniversary dinner and loved it. Food was great and large portions wait staff was attentive. Good size drink menu well worth the price. Got a free cannoli for dessert since mentioned it was our anniversary nice little touch. Highly recommend
Tried reservations no luck, did a 45 minute wait, no real bar area as tables in this area are for dining. Got overpriced beers. Waited 45 minutes for table unfriendly greeters. Finally seated next to stage with duo playing nice music. Went with Prix fixe menu of lobster bisque only no lobster chunks just broth which was okay. Then for main went with chicken parmesan and side of spaghetti. Served warm and not hot... flavor and presentation so so. Wrapped up with cannoli. Expensive experience that didn't live up to price.
Great lunch at Buddy V's. Loved those meatballs and great pizza. Had a nice small ensemble playing music on a Sunday afternoon. Joana was attentive and efficient in taking care of us and providing excellent recommendations on wine and food.
We could’ve chosen from several Italian restaurants in the Venetian/Palazzo resort however I chose Buddy’s so I can go home and brag that I ate there. We were seated in a timely manner. The restaurant was nice and clean. Busy and noisy but that’s the Italian way, right. The service was just ok. Our waiter didn’t come to our table much for all the other tables he was waiting on. The food was good and plenty. Price average for Vegas pricing. Overall I’m glad we came however other Italian restaurants may be better. Sorry Buddy…
