Restaurant was on the slower side and literally everything took forever. 30min for drinks to come out and another 20 for the first app to finally arrive, our server didn’t clear the table and we still had non used wine glasses at the end of our meal which was insane. Funniest part is the steak entree came out before the salads and we weren’t given steak knife’s either. I wish i remember our server name because he was absolutely horrible.
On the bright side the manager Michelle came over and made everything right, bringing us a round of drinks and brought out the chef as well to present a full sampler of their dessert.
Thank you Michelle for making this a fantastic dinner 💕

Not sure why this place only has 4 stars - I was intrigued by their summer Prix Fix menu - $80 for a ceasar salad, 5 oz filet and creme brulee. I added a side, some wine and the $20 upgrade to the 9 oz filet and absolutely LOVED it. The service was great, the food was incredible and the atmosphere was comfortable. Upscale, but not fussy.

Didn't think we would get a real quality steak here in the Flamingo but honestly one of our best meals ever. More expensive but really worth it. ROLL WITH IT cocktail was brilliant as well as lobster bisque, prime rib and ribeye cooked to perfection. OMG the brussel sprouts are a revelation.

One of the waiters was rude.
Bread plate came with frozen butter that we couldn’t spread.
Chicken and squash ordinary but steaks were beautiful
So so expensive- not good value dining at all

I was really disappointed. Food vs Value, very low. The waiter must hate his job and it shows. His attitude wrecked the experience. Do yourself a favor and go to Fremont Street. You will have a better experience and find a prime rib starting around 16 bucks and save yourself 80 bucks.

Edward was awesome! He made excellent suggestions and was on top of everything! The lobster bisque was delicious and if it was acceptable I would have licked the bowl clean! My filet was wonderful and cooked to perfection! It was a nice dinner for our first night in Vegas! Oh and I almost forgot the crème brûlée for dessert 🤤

My partner and I ordered the seafood tower for 2 and the old age ribeye steak. We were very disappointed with the value for money. The seafood tower was not even half the amount you would get at other places. It was a couple of mouthfuls of the different type of seafood. Would not recommend! The steak however was cooked to perfection and was delicious.

2 hrs in a restaurant is to long. Food was very good kind of. Scallop potatoes tasted like they were out of a box. Brussel sprouts were nice and steaks were good( had to send one back because it was overcooked). Wait time for our drink order took about 20 minutes. Time to bring our food almost 40 minutes. Service was not what we expected. We have been here when it 1st opened and it was wonderful. We will probably not be back. To much money for the service.

Bugsy & Meyer’s Steakhouse – A Hidden Masterpiece in the Heart of the Flamingo

Las Vegas, for all its glittering lights and culinary fanfare, still holds a few secrets close to the chest. And nestled behind the grand pink façade of the Flamingo lies one of the Strip’s most delightfully unassuming treasures: Bugsy & Meyer’s Steakhouse.

Walking through the art-deco-inspired entrance feels like stepping into a bygone era of Vegas glamour—a speakeasy draped in velvet luxury and mobster mystique. But the real story here is what’s served on the plate—and let me tell you, it speaks volumes.

I began my evening with a classic Caesar salad, dressed with remarkable balance—creamy, sharp, and whispering of anchovy in a way only confident kitchens dare attempt. The bread service, often overlooked in lesser establishments, here deserves its own standing ovation: warm, crusty, and paired with butter so silky it should come with a warning label.

But it was the 16-ounce ribeye that stole the show. Perfectly marbled, flame-kissed to a medium-rare blush, and seasoned with the kind of restraint that tells you the chef trusts his meat—and rightly so. Each bite melted with buttery intensity, carrying both smoke and depth in equal measure.

To close, I indulged in a chocolate cake that was unapologetically decadent—layers of rich ganache and moist cake stacked with finesse, reminding me of why dessert should never be skipped, even when you’re full.

The service? Five-star worthy, without question. The staff was polished and warm—attentive without hovering, knowledgeable without pretension. It’s rare to feel both like a VIP and an old friend, yet that was the tone of the entire evening.

Now for the bold statement: Bugsy & Meyer’s outshines Gordon Ramsay’s namesake steakhouse and—dare I say—even edges past the legendary Golden Steer. Yes, I said it. This is not just a restaurant. It’s a revelation hiding in plain sight.

To the team at Bugsy & Meyer’s: Bravo. You’ve earned a loyal devotee. I’ll be back—not out of habit, but out of hunger for excellence.
