Unfortunately, I believe the top-shelf whiskey had been replaced with something cheaper. It didn't taste like McCallan at all... unfortunately...
Horseshoe... please don't replace your liquors with cheaper fakes thinking those that know won't...

Staying here now, booked months in advance and found out when we arrived the pool was closed, with zero notice. Been here 3 days and yet to receive room service even though we selected we wanted this service. Just asked a maid in the hallway if we could get towels and she told us no. Do not stay here stay somewhere cheaper with better service, I’m so bummed we picked this hotel!

My Fiancé and I were checked into a dirty room at about 12:30pm and we called and called to get new sheets , even offered to make the bed ourselves. Talked to Jack on the phone said he would send people up nothing happened. No room service came by or anything. It is now 6:37 at the time (room still not cleaned now) I am writing this review and I just wanna say shoutout to Michelle at the front desk for accommodating instantly after explaining our inconvenience. It was just her and another girl working at the time people were getting angry with her and she stayed professional. As I’m writing this there is only Michele and another girl working up there shout out to the both of them for their class and professionalism, GIVE THEM A RAISE!!!
Checkin was awful. One person and broken kiosks to check people in.
Caesar's ruins every property. Horseshoe had a fantastic sports book then Caesar's makes it a little rinky dinky room. I like to play the horses so I won't be going to this casino. I also play the keno machines only and Caesar's took it out of many of their properties . Caesar is just worried about making money off of the slots. They don't care what most people like to play and eat. They are all about the dollars. And most of their restaurants are too high for the average person.
I booked a room with a king bed and pre paid a deposit. When I got to the hotel it showed my reservation for a king bed and the self check in gave us our keys and room assignment. Upon getting to the room, the room had 2 double beds. I used the phone in the room to call down to the front desk, I had to wait over 15 min for someone to answer. The woman informed me that the hotel was fully booked and that my reservation for a king bed was not guaranteed. I knew what she told me about the hotel being fully booked was a lie because when we checked in we were offered about a half dozen ways to upgrade including the same size room on a higher floor for an extra fee. When I called her on that she told me I should go down to front desk and talk to someone about my situation ( which means she was not located at the front desk at all but at some call center). I did go down to the front desk and they quickly moved me a few floors up to a room with a king bed with no with no issues other than it costing unnecessary stress and an hour of our vacation. This hotel does not include parking in the “resort fee” that is an extra 18.00 a day, also not all the elevators or escalators are working.
It was a good surprise as it was only for one night and the cheapest of my trip. Good location- monorail station- nice and helpful staff, AZ8 well as professional ?. Online check in and out, thanks to everyone!
We had booked a show at the Horseshoe several months before our trip. (We stayed elsewhere, so no judging the rooms!) When we got here, we find out the show had been cancelled. It was a huge disappointment to say the least. They had apparently cancelled it via email the night before. I don't check my email frequently on vacation. Anyhow, after we found out it was cancelled, we tried to get our parking validated. ($18) It took an hour of being sent in circles and finally to a resolution. We were so incredibly frustrated! The only reason we came to this hotel was for the show. We would have gambled a bit perhaps after, maybe had a drink or two. But we did not stay nor will we EVER return. Not that they care at all anyway, infuriating experience. They are only getting a two because a nice man in the Diamond Club finally helped us out. Thank you. (It was never about the $18- It was about priciple)

We stayed here during a family trip in August. My parents had booked rooms at Paris, so my wife and I chose to stay at Horseshoe since rooms were cheaper but the properties were still connected. With the money we were saving, we chose to go a little nice on the room aspect and went with the Resort Executive Suite for about the same price as my parents paid to stay in a standard king room at Paris. The rooms are extremely spacious, even the standard rooms. The Resort Executive Suite felt absolutely massive, with a huge amount of living space and a spacious bathroom, anchored by the enormous soaking tub. Like most other strip hotels, the balconies no longer open, but it's so hot I don't know why anyone would want to open those doors to begin with. I was definitely struck by how clean and well-maintained the entire property felt. No chipped paint, no pulled carpet, no dents or dings in the walls or furniture. They have a very nice casino floor with lots of table games and other options. Friendly dealers and prompt cocktail service, as well. The location really doesn't get much better. You have a connection to Paris as well as bridges to both Bellagio and Cromwell/Flamingo just outside the Grand Bazaar shops. We spent most of our time on the strip bouncing in and out of Caesars Palace and we never felt it was too far. The one and only issue we encountered was our AC did not work properly our first night there. We called the front desk and maintenance was at our door within 20 minutes. They resolved the issue quickly and we had no other problems. Big props to the hotel staff for a quick resolution! I would absolutely stay here again and recommend it to anyone who asked. For the quality of the property relative to the price, you really can't do much better on the strip.
I would like to acknowledge a gal at the desk named Lorna who went above & beyond to help us. We had a big mess at check in. In Vegas for a family wedding. Two brothers booked a room for 2 adults & paid in full thru a 3rd party. But only one brother's name was on the confirmation & he ended up in the hospital & couldn’t go. First attempt at desk explaining, we were totally blown off, "can't help you-booked by a 3rd party." Brother in hospital called 3rd party, they called Horseshoe to add name of brother that was there to conf #/room. Second attempt at desk blew us off again, “That’s not our conf #, booked by a 3rd party, can’t help you.” No remorse & didn't want to hear it. Brother in hospital called Horseshoe to get brother there on the conf#/room. Tried a 3rd time at desk & got a "saint” named Lorna. Lorna took the time to listen, took the time to look at the 3rd party conf #. Lorna did some digging on her end, tried multiple avenues & finally got my brother into his PD In Full room. Hip, Hip, Yooray to Lorna!!! LORNA, thank you so much for taking the time to go that extra mile for us, you are such a sweetie!!! On arrival home, all charges were correct. What started out as a nightmare ended smoothly, wedding & all, thanks to one gal, Lorna!
It was actually quite nice. The room was big, and the view was of the high roller and sphere. Housekeeping could have been better. Lots of dust missed. We had a peculiar visit from security after 7 days, saying they needed to look in our room because we had booked a 10 day stay. I'm guessing Housekeeping told them we brought a travel kettle, and they wanted it removing. No saving money like making your own coffee!!! Anyway, we said we'd remove it, and they left. Like I said, big room = hiding places. The pool was nice but way too small for the size of the hotel. Drinks at pool bar £40 for one pina colada. Bit steep, but it's vegas!
The room was clean, and comfortable, and even though you are centrally located there was little to no outside noise! the hotel is in a good location with easy connections to shops and dining! The staff were super friendly and helpful. The resort fees were a little expensive but it is what’s expected these days
I want the Horseshoe to succeed. It's in a great location to explore by walking what the Las Vegas Strip has to offer. That said, why do I get the sense that this property is on its last legs, and maybe a year or two from demolition ... which may explain the managerial neglect? Had an experience I've never had before at the Horseshoe, which was getting poked by quills from the down pillows. All six pillows on both queen beds had this problem. This is a sign that the pillows should be replaced. Aside from the prickly pillows making it difficult to sleep, I feel bad for the staff. What if a HIV-positive guest was pricked by one of the pillows, and then a housekeeper becomes infected? Yes, there is a pool and a workout room justifying the resort fee (which is more than the daily cost I paid for the room), but they are quite a walk from the hotel elevators. After several stays there, I've yet to use either. Although this has not been a problem during past stays, the closet only had four of the clip-type hangers, and there were no normal hangers. Is not that why the hotel takes a credit card at check-in, so when things go missing the hotel can charge the guest for missing items. The room also had no wash towels; also a first. It also lacked a "Do Not Disturb" sign to display. I've worked as a housekeeper before. How about a checklist when you turn over a room, Horseshoe? Don't offload your quality control responsibilities onto guests. Also noticed that several of the furniture surfaces in the room had clear, sticky substances on them that a standard wipe down would have removed; which I ended up doing with one of the hand towels. Others have mentioned the filthy condition of the parking garage, which is in desperate need of a power wash ... including the metal trash cans. Yes, it sucks that some guests cannot dispose of their trash as they should. Perhaps Las Vegas should adopt Singapore's strict laws on littering, and offer bounties to those who report litterbugs?
