OMG - I love Filipino food and have had it everywhere from the NYC to LA and everywhere in between. I am newly relocatied to my favorite city Las Vegas, which has a good sized Filipino community. When I searched on Google for the restaurants close to me this one came up first. After checking out the menu and prices, I was excited and placed a call in order for my three favorites to 1) chicken skin 2) Lechon Kawali 3) crispy Pata.
When I called in my lunchtime order from home I was initially told that chicken skin was not available, so I proceeded with the other two items. At the end she said they could have chicken skin for me if I could wait for about 45 minutes. Of course I can was my response, ado my order was complete. As agreed I arrived at the agreed time and was promptly greeted by a friendly staff who informed me that my order was almost ready and they had also given me a complimentary dessert as well.
All I can say is that all of the food was piping hot, delicious. I was so hungry and excited when I got back home I forgot to take photos. I ate the chicken skin while driving home and it was so delicious I wanted to go back for more, but I kept going. Upon arriving home my next target was the Crispy Pata. First of all, this was the biggest piece of pork goodness I’ve ever seen before and I’ve had this dish in many places, but Cafe de Manila took it to a whole new level. The skin was super crispy and delicious, but the inside lean meat was moist snd juicy. After eating only about half of it (a first for me) I was so full I had no room for my other favorite the Lechon Kawaii. I did manage to taste one small piece and it was beautiful cooked and tasty as well, At the end of the day I was in Filipino Food Heaven.
I ended up purring my leftovers in the freezer but will be enjoying the rest soon.
Please stop by Cafe De Manila on S. Buffalo in Vegas if you’re anywhere close by. It is definitely worth the drive and the wait.

I never leave bad reviews, but me and my girlfriend were really looking forward to trying the tinolang manok at Café de Manila. When we walked in, nobody greeted us or even acknowledged we were there. I stood there waiting for a while, but still nothing — not even eye contact from the woman working the front. It felt like we weren’t welcome, so we just left. Disappointing experience, especially since we came in excited to support a Filipino spot. Hope the customer service improves.

We spend $122.00 None of the food is good unlike before they just open up. The sinigang na Bangus was cook with the whole tail and scales not cleaned, sisig no flavor no liver, it says on menu sisig kapampangan, i am kapampangan that is not how kapampangan cook sisig, dinuguan no taste of vinegar no flavor doesn’t taste like pork doesn’t look like pork was cut into very tiny pieces, we went to their store next door, we bought fried dried pusit it was too hard and taste rutten taste very bitter just throw it, i am not going back there ever again, I’ve been there few times, but totally different now, People please don’t go there it’s a waste of money.
Not impressed with the pork lechon kawali, it was soaked with oil & the oil tasted like it's been reused more than twice. The pork sinigang would have been ok except the pork tastes very old, like it’s been boiled for a couple of days. It did not taste fresh at all. The menu was lousy in appearance, not really presentable. Service was good though (server was friendly) although i had to ask for the salsa, it was not given when the lechon was served. I will definitely not come back again for the food.
great food. horrible service. standing over us to get theorder. after we get the food never saw her again. charged me 20% service charge on tip of that. never even got a thank you or see you again later.
Food was okay. Our orders came out soaking in oil. At least we tried it.
Different Filipino restaurants make their chicken adobo a little different, but this type is our favorite. It's got the thicker sauce, and the very powerful flavors that are good enough to pour all over your rice. ? And bruh, that halo-halo has ice, but I'm telling y'all, it's fire. ????

I came here with my family of 6; we had the worse service, or lack there of, from a woman (voice so deep could be a man?) named Gene.
He/she shouldn't be in the service industry if he/she thinks she can just add 20% to the bill because we are a party of 6 & then give us NO SERVICE. You have to provide SERVICE to deserve / earn the "TIP". We would of paid more than 20% if the service was good.
Dropping off our meals was the only thing Gene did, we needed water & drink refills, etc. We won't patronize a restaurant with this poor service, entitled attitude.
I told Gene, I was once a server & advised her that she shouldn't default to add 20% to our bill because she did nothing but dropped off our meals; with that said, she raised her voice, became argumentative
& defensive stating that "well then, you should know, as a past 'server' yourself that party of 5 or more is an immediate 20% added to the bill."
I understand & agree that large parties should tack on 20% onto the bill....but that's because the server will be busy providing SERVICE:
($tip$) making sure our order is correct & enjoying our meal, received waters & beverages, giving refills when needed, provide napkins, ensure necessary
condiments are with the meals, dirty plates immediately taken off table especially from large party table, checking on us with a friendly, attentive, & pleasant service attitude, offering to-go boxes, ask if we want anything else (like desert) before dropping off our bill.
(($tip$))...Management needs to address this entitlement attitude from Gene and put he/she in check.
I wish I could give negative -5 stars for the terrible service attitude we had experienced. We always enjoy the food here but this time Gene left us with a bad taste in our mouth.

Gave them another try, and service was ok. They were occupied with a meeting with a group. We had the lechon kawali and pork adobo.
The pork adobo was horrible. We didn't even eat it. It tasted like soy sauce but at the same time no other flavor. No acidity or bay leaf.
The lechon was actually perfect. We ordered it extra crispy. We asked for vinegar, too, and it was yummy.
Overall, I'd return again but need to taste other dishes.
I ordered dinuguan. It came out like pork adobo , very oily, not dinuguan.
