Super skimp on the meat
This location has been consistently superior to the one on St. Rose. They are cleaner, faster, and significantly kinder. Thank you to Joaquin and Jessica especially for your speedy service- the staff is extremely well trained and knows what their doing!

We have made Cafe Rio our go to for Taco Tuesday for the last six months. Depending on what part of town we are in we either get great service or terrible service. The inconsistent of the food is definitely glaring, really depends on where you go and how friendly the staff is.

Just went in there for my lunch and a lovely kid was helping me out with my order and all of a sudden the manager or some other employee (hawain lady) interrupted extremely rude (she even rolled her eyes) just because i asked for chips. She rudely stated that those were extra cost which i already knew. cafe rio needs to seriously look into her management skills

This location is highly recommended. The food is consistent and always delicious. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Restaurant is very clean. We have been to many Cafe Rio locations, but none of them compare to this one.

Cafe Rio customer service promptly addressed my concerns and gave us a credit. I hope the manager here will keep this store up to their usual high standards.
We have been to this Cafe Rio in the past, and it has always been great. This time, the salsa wasn’t fresh, and the portion was very skimpy. We were redeeming our coupon for a free burrito and the price seemed high for only having 3 tacos (on taco Tuesday), the guy kept insisting it was right, so we paid it. After we had left, I finally looked at the receipt and we had been charged for 4 tacos and he even added a tip that we had not authorized!

Just tried this place for the first time. The people working here were so rushed and rude and the food was not fresh and unappetizing. I got the steak salad and they couldn’t even tell me which dressings were gluten free. They don’t really have any veggies only guacamole and pico. The guacamole was brown and not fresh. The steak was super oily. I ended up having only a couple bites and was so grossed out, I left it and couldn’t finish it. Waste of time and money.

This place is always closings an hour early. If you go an hour before closing they will not have anything and the employees will give you a hard time about it. They didn’t have anything meats. We went at 9 pm on the dot ant they had nothing left. The rice was crunchy and all of their speciality drinks are already dumped out for the night. They aren’t supposed to close until 10 and I Firmly believe they should be stocked until closing. As some who use to work in the industry that was the standard I was held too and they should do the same

Outstanding First Visit to Café Rio – Store #017!
I recently visited Café Rio (Store #017) for the first time, and I have to say, it was an exceptional experience from start to finish! The food was fresh and delicious, but what really stood out was the spectacular customer service.
I was warmly welcomed and assisted by Timothy, Susan, and Paula, who went above and beyond to make my visit enjoyable. Timothy was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable, helping me navigate the menu with great recommendations. Susan made sure my order was perfect and checked in to see if I needed anything else. And Paula had such a positive attitude that made the experience even more enjoyable.
The team at Café Rio truly cares about their customers, and it shows in the way they interact and serve with a smile. It’s not often you find such genuine hospitality, and it made my first visit here unforgettable.
If you’re looking for great food and even better service, I highly recommend stopping by Café Rio #017. I will definitely be returning! Huge thanks to Timothy, Susan, and Paula for making my visit so special!
