Cafe Rio Fresh Modern Mexican

I started having cafe Rio at this location since 2010, after today sadly we won’t be going back, my son and I always enjoy having dinner here after football practice but today we had a really bad experience.
Management your employees needs customer service training.
We know what we want so we always order fast and clear, the guy making the quesadillas was rushing us, there wasn’t anybody behind us, I swear I have never seen the restaurant empty before.
I always get my Guacamole on the side, she just gave me dirty look when I asked for it on the side.
The one who got the only star was the cashier who was polite and professional matter.
I am disappointed because this location was our fave spot for years, they don’t make you feel welcome anymore, is like they get mad as soon as they see you walking in, is the kinda environment that you don’t want to be in.

I messed up the amount of people on a catering order and the manager and team on site were more than happy to help me. They made meal for 14 more people and SAVED the day!

Whenever I have a get together, either birthday party or graduation party, my best option is Cafe Rio. The food always tastes great and when I cater, they give me everything I need from the chafing containers and heat source to every spoon, tongs and utensils I would need. All I need to do is open the individual trays and have my guests help themselves. Awesome parties with Cafe Rio, I’ve tried the location on St Rose and I’ve always been happy with the attention and this time I tried the store on Eastern. Very good customer service. I’ll be going back.

I do take out usually once a week. I order everything separate so it's still fresh when I get home. My favorite is a salad with grilled chicken. Delicious.

The parking lot is almost always full because there are a lot of small businesses in this strip mall.

I ordered the kids quesadilla meal, salad, chips, guac & queso and the chicken fajita bowl. I have picky kids and they ate it like it was the best meal they ate in a long time. I inhaled my food as well. I recommend ordering from here and any of the food is absolutely delicious!

I love going to Cafe Rio-- it's one of my all-time favorite places in town. The staff here were incredible. I love how the tables are all painted and decorated. And the nachos are to die for!

The food and service were great as always. Though spicier hot sauce would always be appreciated ?

Vegetarian options: I always get the salad with rice and beans, no dairy, all the salsa's and habanero sauce for the dressing. Then add the available hot sauces. It is excellent every time.
