They are always out of stuff no matter what time you go and workers are very lazy the food is still good though but I live near this location but usually avoid it and go to W Lake Mead location which is usually better

Used to be my favorite location. Placed an order tonight through the app and went to pick it up. Waited in like for almost 15 minutes before ever even being acknowledged by the staff. When they finally did speak to us, they said the order never existed and then went back to ignoring us for another 15 minutes. Finally a staff member looked through the system and found out that our order had been cleared out because it was taken. TAKEN, some one legit rolled up and took our food. Now I have to go through a customer support line just to get my money back. On top of all this, this location is always under staffed, the floors are dirty, and the staff is rude. Avoid this place and go to another location.

They were super busy but the staff were friendly even while they were working hard. A couple of things on our take out order were incorrect but not so badly that it made our meals inedible. We just need to make sure we’re communicating clearly when we make our order. I wish the web and app ordering made a space for special requests. This may have made our orders easier for the team to get correct.

First I’ll state that I have been going to this location seven years or more, I’ll seen so many faces come an go..The quality of the food and atmosphere hasn’t been the same recently, Know wonder it’s like this because I had the privilege of a nasty experience with Maggie the manager ..and I don’t believe that’s her real name, you should of seen the look on her face when I ask her, her name..I walk inn and ask for a tostada and ask nicely if I can have the chips without the seasoning on them because it’s salted ..she said no and it wasn’t just no nicely it was her tone and I think it was personal because two week prior to last night it was done and she was the one who offered it too me but that same night I complained to her about a staff and I guess she took it personal,The reason I came to this conclusion is later that week when I went inn I saw her rubbing the shoulders of that same employee I complained on..Maggie has no customer service skills..she’s very rude and can’t wait for her to be moved..She also stated to me that she’s the GM so I guess good luck with my complaint..She also insulted me in front of her staff..I can’t wait to read how Cafe Rio justifies her attitude..

Most employees dont seem to wanna be there.. cant even hand you the bag of food... just place it on the pick up area when they clearly know you're there for that order. No common courtesy.

I have never been to a Cafe Rio before. Stopped here on a whim on the way home from the gym to grab quick take out dinner for the family. Got us all bowls with carne asada. Not only was I shocked at the seemingly low cost (compared to chipotle and other comparables) thr taste and quality was excellent!!! We will never eat chipotle or similar again. I have returned at least 5 times since the first try just a few weeks ago. The only thing I find disappointing but I semi understand because they make everything fresh, is they are almost always out of something. When it is a side, not so much of an issue...but they are often out of the meats and I try now to go at off hours on purpose to avoid it being busy but perhaps that is worse...trying to find the right timing to get something other than the shredded meats. Not that those are bad. The pork I had was excellent however my family does not prefer shredded meats in general. The service is also pretty excellent. There is a worker there that may be the manager because the other workers often ask her questions...she is has amazing customer service and is kind and seems to be enthusiastic about her job. She is helpful especially since I had never been there prior and also they were out of fajita mix but bc it was in the middle of being made, she ensured i got some just prior to leaving as a side. I'm upset I haven't decided to try this place earlier considering we've lived in area for almost 6 years. Will continue to be a regular customer. Excited to try their daily made desserts some time. Their tortillas are made fresh throughout the day along with what seems like everything else. Highly recommend skeptically only bc I selfishly don't want even more people crowding up this place;)

Portion size was so bad we had to refuse most of what was made.... first time ever.... anywhere, and I am beyond tolerant. They were low on pork and rather than getting a new tub the person quite literally spent an extra long minute getting nothing but sauce out of the can with... tongs, no meat.... light bottom shreds of random things... mostly not pork. After asking for actual meat and the lady pretending not to hear and keep asking if I wanted cheese....

I prevented a catastrophic wife meltdown by redirecting my wife to the other worker asking about the salad she was getting. Now getting less of everything for some reason... not sure what the deal was, seriously not sure... we just came in and ordered, been a couple months since our last visit to this location, but I surely did not know these people.... but the service was comically bad at this point. I had to walk away, my wife refused to pay for the burrito of internal sadness, it even looked like it was deflated. It was more of a quesadilla at this point.

I was holding it in. I adulted. Prevented wife anger in the restaurant... I paid for it in the parking lot... and on the way home... and it is me without dinner, thanks.

FYI.... not going to come back... to any location. Portion sizes are all over the place with you guys.. but this was beyond small... this was sause, it was insulting.

I'm so utterly disappointed with every Cafe Rio location, I haven't found one that isn't incompetent. I've been to this location only 4 TIMES! And only had ONE good experience. The rest of the times, I was met with difficulties regarding staff and food shortage. The staff here are always lounging around being lazy and messing around in the back. This location NEVER HAS ANYTHING in stock, always saying they are out of stuff hours before close, that is very poor planning. I swear every Cafe Rio location desperately needs new staff and management. Otherwise, it will continue to decline and close.

This place is over rated maybe it’s this location the food was cold the station not kept up with any food wasn’t clean, there were 7 or 8 girls there all looked miserable huge like and no one would help out I would give them zero stars if I could

We gave been eating at this location 3 times a week for past 4 years. And the last 3 times we have ordered food. It is Not ready or never prepared and the chicken is Huge pieces of grizzled not shredded. Very disappointing

On 8/25/24 at around 1:30pm I placed an order through uber eats for two salads and absolutely none of the order notes were followed. Both were incredibly wrong in terms of ingredients, nothing was marked or labeled. I don’t usually get incorrect food from this location but this time around somebody was lazy or didn’t care. It’s situations like this that make enjoying food from a restaurant impossible these days. If the employees don’t care, don’t keep them around. Make an example out of them, it’s that easy.

Not what me or my family expected for the price. At first the food looked pretty good and was well put together. However as soon as we were done all 5 of me and my family members just felt like it was not worth the money spent to eat here.
