I went to order a cake for my grandson 1st birthday and the gentleman told me it would be 280 for the cake I though pricey but ok gave him a deposit and a few days later we needed to do some changes man was upset and anyways the cake was supposed to be whip cream not butter cream and he made it his way not mine I felt like just because we made changes he didn’t care about the cake so won’t be visiting this place again

Owned by a second generation baker and open at 7:00am seven days per week, Cake World occupies a small corner of the shopping plaza where the ceiling decorated in pinata feels as joyous as all the custom Cakes on display throughout the interior.
Greeted by pleasant staff, prices barely changed in the past decade, Pan Dulce comes in a good variety from sprinkled Cookies to crisp Oreja and Cheese-filled Empanadas.
Still not impressed by the Concha, dryer than many but perhaps a matter of personal preference, Cakes prove excellent whether one selects jiggly Flan by itself or atop a Chocolate base while Cake World's signature Tres Leches Cake exceeds expectations thanks to light Cream, Fruit and a Sponge that stands up well to the moisture.

It was an impulse idea to find a bakery for my wife’s birthday cake this year. Grocery store cakes just aren’t the same quality. Ordered a vanilla cake with butter cream frosting and Boston cream between the layers. It was fantastic! If I were you I’d give them your business.

First, let me start with the cashier who wrote up the ticket, which did not make me feel comfortable with my cake order. I had to repeatedly make sure that she had everything written down as I requested. The ticket was so sloppy, it had all kinds of scratch offs, I should have canceled the order just from that, but I was not feeling so well, did not have the strength or the energy to keep shopping around and really needed to order my son a cake for his birthday. I took a chance anyway, and that was the worst decision as far as purchasing a cake that I could have made. The cake was overly priced, and when I arrived home and decided to cancel it because I did not feel secure with the order, I then noticed on the that the deposit was nonrefundable. The cake was actually paid for atleast 3-4 days in advance so it should have been refundable but that was my fault for not seeing it on the ticket prior to paying or even asking if I changed my mind could I get my money back. I asked for a strawberry short cake with all whip cream with strawberries inside, blue writing, and decoration for a male. The cake it self was moist but the strawberries inside were cut so small I could barely taste the them, there was so much whipcream on the inside and the outside that when I cut into the cake it was so messy that I had to keep cleaning my hands in-between each cut. I was so disappointed that my son immediately pointed out that the writing looked like a child decorated the cake. The supposed roses that were drawn on the cake were so huge that it took up too much space for the writing. I paid $42.00 for a 6-inch whipcream cake. I just moved to Vegas a couple of years, so I am not familiar with the nearby bakeries, but this 1 is definitely off my list. I was most disappointed because it was my son's special day and he traveled to celebrate his birthday with me and this was the cake that he was given. I looked at the pictures and reviews, and this place seemed like it would be fine, but absolutely not. I have definitely learned my purchasing supposed bakery cake lesson. I wish that I had taken a moment to take a picture of how sloppy every cake slice was once cut. I do have a picture of the actual cake, so show how sloppy the writing and decorations were. The worst $45 that I have ever spent on a cake. As a matter of fact, I have never paid that much for a cake so small.

Cake World was a new experience for me. I had to find a bakery in a hurry to get a cake for a neighbor. I looked online to see if I could find one nearby. I was really stoked when I saw that Cake World was very close. I never knew it was there. I drove there and met the owner, who was extremely nice and helpful. I ended up purchasing three cakes, bread, and another box with various kinds of cake individual slices. Those were for my wife's birthday. She loved the tastes of EVERY CAKE SLICE. We were texted in the middle of the night by our neighbor telling us the cake was the best she'd ever had. I am going in tomorrow to order about 5-6 items for Christmas, for the neighbors! One is for me, though! Lol! I suggest everyone try stopping into this little gem. Say hello to the owners. They are very nice people.

Went here trying to order a cake The man was very pleasant Manuel but then tells me to come back tomorrow when I'm trying to buy a cake today so I don't have to do it tomorrow. I wasted 20 minutes explaining my desire for him to tell me I got something else to do come back tomorrow.They must be millionairesI would never allow money to walk out my door. And I was giving him open craftsmanship as long as it contained the three colors that I needed not only was I trying to order a cake but cake pops and cupcakes. Very sad Vegas is the worst.
