We placed a last-minute order for my niece’s 6th birthday after our original bakery canceled on us. We were grateful that this bakery said they could make strawberry cupcakes with cream cheese frosting within 3 hours — it felt like a lifesaver.
We originally requested pink cream cheese frosting with purple glitter/sprinkles, but they called and let us know that coloring cream cheese frosting could make it runny. We appreciated the transparency and agreed to plain cream cheese frosting with pink and purple sprinkles instead.
Unfortunately, the cupcakes were not what we ordered. They were vanilla with pink food coloring (not strawberry), pretty dry, and the frosting was clearly whipped cream, not cream cheese. We spent $40+ and drove across town for what felt like a completely different product than what was promised.
I appreciate the effort to accommodate us on short notice, but it’s disappointing that there was no honesty or heads-up about the changes. We would’ve understood if they’d just been upfront.

I’ve driven past “Cake World Bakery” so many times and finally stopped in to order a cake for my Barbie-themed 28th birthday—and I’m SO glad I did! I sent them a reference photo, and they made it *look exactly like it*—even cuter in person! 💖 The pink frosting, pearl details, and cherries were all perfect. It was the *show-stopping centerpiece* of my whole birthday setup.
But what really surprised me? It wasn’t just beautiful—it was hands-down the **tastiest cake I’ve ever had**. Moist, flavorful, and just the right amount of sweet. Everyone at the party was raving about it!

The staff were super nice and the pastries were so affordable! We got 2 napples, 4 conchas, an elephant ear, and a guava pastry for $10! Everything was under $2 each 😮 And the pastries were so delicious and so fresh. This bakery is just a mile or so from the California Hotel and has its own free parking lot. It’s a great alternative when you want something sweet but you’re tired of ice cream. 100% I would come here again the next time I’m in Vegas, I wish I could’ve brought my dad!

This quaint little bakery was way more than I expected even after reading the good reviews. We flew in and are staying at the Golden Nugget on Fremont Street with a couple of birthdays in our group, so I needed a cake. After scouring Google reviews and Google Map Reviews Cake World Bakery stood out as one of the better and conveniently was located very close. Excellent service, friendly staff, and delicious pastries and cookies. We are from Ohio, so across the country, and I only spoke with the staff one time there gave a brief description and they asked me to send a reference photo. Just a side note I would not recommend walking from Fremont Street area to the bakery, mostly because it is extremely far compared to how it seems to be on the map. The cake I ordered exceeded my expectations and I cannot put into words how delicious it is. They also told me they could go smaller on the cakes since there was only four people to eat it, and gave me a price quote based on that.... but when I showed up the cake looked exactly like the photo I sent with multiple tears and the price was what they had quoted regardless. I will definitely be coming out here for more special occasions and no matter what occasion that may be..... I will absolutely return for pastries and cookies and will be ordering another cake again!!!!! The the reference photo I sent them is the picture with the cake on a cake stand with white background and the other two photos are what I received. It was PERFECT! THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR DOING SUCH AN AMAZING JOB 💙

Had high expectations for this place especially since I wanted to support local businesses but unfortunately I do not recommend this place at all. I shown them my reference picture for the cake which they said they can do it with the only change I requested being the shape of the cake. The day of I had someone pick up the cake and when I seen it, it looks nothing like the reference picture. The color was not the same, the strawberries looked like red chilies and the worst part of it all was the writing on the cake. For $135 (with a smash cake) it was truly awful and disappointing. It was too late to even ask for them to fix it and was hoping that the cake would at least taste better than it looks which sadly it didn’t. It was dry and stale. It’s very upsetting since it was a 1st birthday cake so the pictures of the cake were terrible. I reached out and express my concern which they acknowledged it was not okay how the cake turned out. I drove all the way back for a $25 refund which made it more upsetting. If you want customize and good tasting cake, I would recommend looking at other local businesses.
