Not open. Asked the lady checking temperatures at the door and she was rude and said no it's closed. 4pm on a Friday.
They make the best shakes and banana splits for the cheapest prices by up to $4.00. Easily
Not a huge selection, and it is in a casino. Not the easiest to find from the outside, I'm not sure why Google Maps recommended this place.
We got something like food poisoning. Me and my cousins went to calamity. That night one of us threw up and me and my other cousin had a very bad stomach ache. The lady was very nice tho. She gave us a free cone. Watch out for the rainbow sherbet! It makes you barf.
Not bad for being the first time
Their look is an approvement, but their prices are a little high. The ice cream flavor was not like it use to be.
This place is closed almost every time we've tried to buy something here. The prices aren't always on display and now we know why... this has got to be the most expensive ice cream shop that we have ever seen. They also show that they have popcorn. Popcorn?? At an Ice Cream shop??? that's what they say... but when people have asked, they said they didn't have any made. Oh well... it doesn't matter... we'll go to the McDonald's inside this casino (Sam's Town) and buy a $1 soft serve cone. We will never pay $4 or $5 for a single dip cone anywhere on this planet. That is just insane.
Service was quick. I had the praline and cream ice cream in a waffle come. One scoop was pretty large which I like. The flavor was really good but be sure to eat inside, the Vegas heat will make a mess.
If it was financially feasible I would come to Calamity Jane's once a week from Arizona! Their ice cream is great and the staff is always friendly. I usually get a hot fudge sundae with two scoops of ice cream or a banana split that is so satisfying. They don't have 31 Flavors but the flavors they have are great they never have frostbite on them which makes the ice cream even better. My personal favorites are the rocky road, mint chocolate chip, and chocolate chip cookie dough.
They serve Dreyer's ice cream - not necessarily my favorite brand. But this place gets the job done when we're hanging out at Sam's Town and hubby wants a treat. I've never seen them very busy and the service is just fine.
